its 100% office based and audit as opposed to a mix where I am. the job role has kind of been created around me - i.e. hours etc. So going back to what I used to do in my job before this one!
Men indeed!!! House did look amazing after I had finished though!!!Make £10 per day in May £89.29/£3100 -
Yeah I always moan when I'm being a mad whirlwind and tidying up like a maniac but I'm glad afterwards cos it usually takes half the time!!

It's great having a job with hours to suit, especially with little ones. Makes life so much easier and less stressful.0 -
Feeling bad :-( spent £70 on my CC for lights for the garden. First time I have put anything on my card since Feb.
Will have to make sure I pay it off ASAP!!!Make £10 per day in May £89.29/£3100 -
Just caught up on your thread. I'm very inspired by your extra earnings! I'm also trying to pay off extra but it's hard with little ones. My eldest is only in reception and it seems to be one thing after another, be that books, drama shows or replacing lost school uniform and broken shoes!
Try not to dwell on the cc expense. I'm sure you will pay it off asap. I have lost our credit card that we kept for emergancys. Once I have paid off the loan I'm going to try and save our own personal emergency pot and then cancel the account. It seems like a massive thing to cancel it now, even though we have nothing on it... Maybe I should just do it.
Good luck to you, il be subscribing

Even for her sports day she has to wear a certain colour. Typically it's the colour that she doesn't have! Il have to look tomorrow for one. She is refusing to wear anything but dresses so am annoyed that this top will join the other unworn ones in her drawer. Kids eh!Loan : £7624.22

Started new job - bit unsure of it all at the moment - but i'm sure i will get there! Nowhere to buy lunch so have taken lunch in for the past 3 days and no parking to pay now! Am managing to get the girls from childcare 30 mins earlier than planned so minder has said she won't charge me for the last 30 mins (she usually charges by the hour!) - which is fab!! OH sold some old upvc french doors on ebay that he salvaged from a job (we were going to use) - they went for £190 - result!!! Just got to persuade him to part with some tools now!!! Garden is making slow progress as money is in short supply here due to overrun on OH's current job. Can't believe we are only 3 weeks away from summer holidays! I better start planning some days out on the cheap!!!Make £10 per day in May £89.29/£3100

Ah dammit I meant to say good luck for your new job, you'll soon settle in I'm sure. Are the people nice and friendly? That's always a good start!!
Good news on the cost saving for parking and child minder. It all adds up!! Also not having anywhere to buy lunch is probably a good thing too, you'll be forced to take in your own lunch and no unplanned spending
I can't believe how quickly the summer hols are approaching either. Childcare hell is almost here!!! (for me at least!!) Lots of days at the park, bike riding and picnics for us this year I think, cheap and cheerful!!

Yay!! It's my Friday! Am beginning to enjoy my new job, I am challenged and the day goes pretty quickly! But mentally exhausting but nice to be occupied again!!! Got a busyish weekend! Tomorrow visiting my aunts friend who is changing her garden and is giving away lots of plants! So hopefully can bulk up the beds a bit!! OH and I have been talking and we desperately want to move to France, are looking at properties over there with a view to doing up as he has all the skills, and eventually moving there. So it's even more important to get the debt paid off!!!Make £10 per day in May £89.29/£3100

wow how exciting - a move to France! Sometimes I dream of doing something like that. I have a stressful job in the NHS which can sometimes feel like its not possible todo for the rest of my life. I have been watching that Kevin Mccloud series where families emigrate somewhere really remote. Being in the wilderness is definitely not for me lol but I love how the families have a much simpler life and spend so much time doing stuff together. Of course, it is only really possible if you go to a place with low living costs. Cant wait to hear about your plans
