In for an early morning tipple.
Total debt has just dropped below £15k! From over £23k in August 2014. Next milestone £10k.0 -
Oooh, I was JUST educating a colleague on the merits of combining sloe gin and prosecco, so this seems like my kind of place!
Last month I went under the £1500 debt total and hope to be clear by August - from a starting point of around £20k.
Congratulations to everyone else on reaching their milestones. It's a long old road for a lot of us and sometimes it feels like two steps back, but look at us all, we're getting there.

Just admiring the figures some of you have posted.
What an inspiration.
I've just got all my debt (£8700) bar bank overdraft on to 0% until next year following some useful prodding from here. Payday is next week. Wednesday. I will go into the black briefly. My target for the next few months is to extend the black days till every day is a black day. Then use the excess for the credit card debt. Busy working on a budget. And eBay/local paper selling. I have a few large items which should make a difference quite fast.Total debt at 18.9.17 £1950

I'll take a bag of Mr. Porky Pork scratchings if you please.
Can I join please? I started debt busting 4 weeks ago and I will hit my 10% milestone on Monday. Its 10% of my target for the year but I'm happy and proud.
Congrats to everyone and chin chin.

Hi, this is my first post I think although I've been reading the forum for a while and it's been so helpful

This month after being paid and all the bills coming out, I am finally out of my £800 overdraft which I've had for quite a few years. Such a relief

Hi there, I'll be propping the bar up on payday, as my debt will have halved from the figure it was when I first started on the forum.
Two and a half years down, hopefully less than two and a half years to go!!!
