  • First time i have seen this thread and great to read everyones milestones. Ill have a JD and coke please.

On payday last month cleared our last credit card and that leaves us with one debt left. Just under 4k on a loan, so should be debt free towards the end of the year.

Little late too the party but i have had two milestones recently.

    1. My DMP debt is now below £1000 (was over £21K eeep!!)
    2. October 2017 is my debt free year! In 2009 when i started my journey it was 2023 and i couldn't even contemplate ever being nearly debt free.

Feeling really positive at the moment !

    It's a great feeling isn't it?

    Good Luck:)

Popping in for an iced water (diet and time of day means anything stronger is frowned upon ;)) as an eBay sale means I have now hit 80% of debt repaid :j:j

  • I've got a couple for February;

    - Paid off all priority debts
    - completely paid off CRS debt
    - saved £350 due to selling some things I didn't need.

Will be celebrating properly next milestone in march when debt will be under £20k!
  • Sorry to be hogging the bar at the Inn these days, but the snowballing method has really made the light at the end of the tunnel come rushing on now.
I've just made a payment taking my debt repayment over the 90% mark.
Over 90% of £59k paid back.
    Feels good to say that.

    3 months to go.

I'll be back for another pint at 95%, and then the drinks are on me at 100% paid back.
  • Hello everyone!

Today I got my debts under 10 grand!!!

    This snowball is really rollin!

    Keep going everyone
