    Evening all!

    Tax man paid £3k of tax owed into the husbands account this morning bringing our total debt down to £7882. That's first time we have been sub £10k like.....ever.

    Mines a large glass of red for now but we have earmarked a magnum of champagne in the loft (a gift) for celebrating when we are officially debt free hopefully this summer now thanks to this windfall!

    I can almost taste the financial freedom!!!

    My final milestone (for now) is in sight i.e. Debt 100% paid - just 2 weeks to go now:j I am so excited:j:j:j

    Just a coffee for me this morning as I'm on my way to work:p

  • Little late too the party but i have had two milestones recently.

    1. My DMP debt is now below £1000 (was over £21K eeep!!)
    2. October 2017 is my debt free year! In 2009 when i started my journey it was 2023 and i couldn't even contemplate ever being nearly debt free.

    Feeling really positive at the moment !
    March 2017 - Debt Free- cleared £21,750

    On a mission to repair my credit rating & own my own home

    These are all brilliant and inspirational posts
    I hit a milestone i had set last month to pay off my Argos card by Xmas 2016 but missed it by 1 month but it has now gone :D - pint of Doom Bar please :p
    The next debt i have in my rifle scope is my CC debt which currently stands at £7900 and im going to set milestones for each £2500 i pay off
