I UU'ed Burts Bee's almond and milk hand cream - it was really nice and I WBA but the smell made me want to nip out and get an almond pastry everytime I used it! Not very MSE or diet friendly!

Just UU two kerastase hair masque sachets that I got given by a hairdresser for free. One wasn't enough to cover the lengths of my hair so I used both. It was a bit sticky on my hands and wasn't easy to wash off them which put me off a bit. Shall see what it does to my hair but I can't see me buying it in the future.

Also UU a montagne jeunesse strawberry smoothie face mask (an IN that I also need to declare!) which I would definitely buy again. It smells lovely and left my skin feeling great.

Hotel chocolat body lotion - WNBA - didn't buy in the first place, was free with a tasting selection box. I've had these a few times before, smell is quite strong but is thick and ok to use.

Couple of sachets of shampoo/conditioner - nothing special, didn't make me want to go out and buy!

    Hi

    UU

Superfacial Salicyilic Acid Anti Blemish Clay face mask
    Body Satsuma Gel
    Nutri Organic Coconut Oil

    So 125 -3 = 122

    In

Avon Anti Agin Sun Face Cream SPF 50 x 2
Mum and Me Hand Gel 50 ml

    They are necessity items.

    So 122+4 = 126

Oh! I forgot to add this on my original list

    ALPHA H GOLD (50ML)
    ALAPH H MICRODEBRASION (100ML)

    So 126 + 2= 128

Love this thread as it really makes you think about what you are buying.

    I think I might cry !!

Finished my toiletries lists on Monday, although I did conceded I may still find a few bits and pieces as I sorted through bags and boxes....

Day 1 of the intensive sort out, and less than 2 hours in I find not a few bits and bobs but an entire box of toiletries  Some are part used (in fact some will become next to be used as there's so little left in them), but a lot are almost full or still unopened :o

So it's back to updating my list I go as I put these items where they should be......

Think of all the money you'll save not having to purchase these things :-) Not much of a consolation perhaps lol but think of the buzz you'll get when you finish all those nearly finished toiletries!
Can you tell I like finishing things?

UU from my shower this morning:

Crabtree & Evelyn la source shower gel - I thought i'd used this up ages ago but then found it in my long forgotten gym bag oops among another shower gel and shampoo/conditioner. So i also used up those when I washed my hair this morning. They were in travel bottles but I think they were herbal essences?
Visiting my friend and her new baby this morning...can't wait for a squidge!:j

Problems are that I need a major influx of cash now to stay afloat (shame I can't return even half my unopened toiletries ;)), and everything seems to be a LHJ for me

And to top it all, I'm now taking a break from box sorting because I've just found a second box of toiletries which has totally demoralised me :(
(and I've no idea where I'm going to put the opened items, as the cupboard under my sink is already full of such things - I had to move all the unopened items out on Monday to make room for what I had then!).

So it's time to take a parcel to the PO, make/eat some lunch, and then have a half hour or so playing FB games whilst I text OH before he goes to work. Then back to the grind of sorting until around 6pm tonight......

  • Oh cw18, don't be disheartened! you are getting through it. Can you bear to take a peek in the boxes and identify something nice and pampering to set as a target for a UU, or maybe as a treat to use later after your hard work if you have some time to yourself?

UU Vaseline derma therapy spray deodorant (which I can't see on my list so I'll declare it as an in and an out at the same time lol). Did the job fine but I prefer the scent of other sprays I've tried. WMBA.

It was my birthday yesterday and I've got a load of beauty stuff to declare already , I've still got nearly all my presents to open so there could be more. I'll update my list when I've opened everything

I'm sorting the boxes, and listing everything I find. I'm not a pampering person though, so it's all what I'd call general toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, facial cleansers etc.).
