First UU of the month is one lush's "fun" products. Bit of a strange product it was the one that smells like honey I washed the kids, wasn't too keen on the scent but it's not too bad. Just a bit of an awkward product to use, might be good fun for kids though! :-)0

Good morning ladies,
Hope everyone is well.
3 more UUs for me (I'm on a roll and it's good)
Lush rose jam shower gel 250ml
Sanctuary Spa body wash 75ml
Nivea Q10 moisturiser sample sachet.
That's 10 UUs so far, and I think I'll aim for 20, including sachets as I have heaps of these stashed as well.0 -
Made a promise to myself last week, and kept it this morning - which finally gives me some UUs to report for this month :T
I had some sample sachets knocking around, that I've been moving from one place/bag to another for several years - so last week I put them by the wash basin in the en-suite with a promise I'd use them when I had my first shower of this week.
So.....
1. Dove Shampoo for coloured hair - probably enough in the sachet for 2 washes, but didn't fancy leaving it to leak/congeal
2. Dove Conditioner for coloured hair - barely enough in the sachet for my hair
WNB either of the above as there are cheaper alternatives I get along with
3. M&S Spa Life Shower Gel - waaaay too much in the sachet for one shower, and took forever to get my sponge clear of it afterwards
4. M&S Spa Life Body Whip - don't often use products like this, so not much to compare it to. soaked in nicely though.
WNB either of the above even if they're still available (no idea on that one). There are cheaper alternatives out there, and I'm not at all keen on the scent though I don't know if that's partly down to the age of the sachets.Cheryl0 -
Couple of UU's from me:
Nuxe reve de miel ultra comfortable moisturiser - love this moisturiser and have repurchased. It's very moisturising which is great for my skin, smells nice and is paraben free so good all round. Also M&S do Nuxe so got this on one of their fairly frequent 20% off beauty promotions.
Molton brown orange & bergamot shower gel - wnba - didn't mind it but didn't wow me either. That's 1 off the PP list!
Off topic but need a bit of a moan...
I have got THE BIGGEST mouth ulcer ever due to my brace on my bottom teeth, I think it's a collective of 2/3 smaller ones and it's making me really miserable. When I eat or drink it hurts so much! This has been going on for a week, i've nearly used up a pot of anbesol. I think its slightly better today so hopefully will clear up soon. Sat here trying to drink my green smoothie I made this morning and because of the fruit in it being quite acid it's making me want to weep it hurts!! So i'm giving up, only about a quarter left anyway.
But on the up side I did one of my exercise dvds this morning (30 day shred), determined I'm going to get back into doing at least something each day!
Have nice Monday peeps xx0 -
I can't help the OP I'm afraid but just to add, I tried a Jergens body lotion last year which I got super cheap in Tesco, I absolutely loved it but googling has shown that they are no longer selling their range in the UK. Another good excuse for a Stateside jaunt, maybe
I tried looking for Jergens on boots.com and when I didn't see it there thought maybe they had stopped stocking it not the whole UK. When in the US though I tend to splurge on Bath and Body Works instead. Usually can buy four for the price of three.Yeah I second this, my brother has eczema too and he also uses aveeno I'm sure he has it on prescription.
ETA. Just UU another boots extracts cocoa butter body butter 50ml. Love these HG WBA but think I've got a big pot and another mini one stashed away. Don't think I can live without this stuff now!! Just opened a coconut one for a change and don't like the smell so much. But I'm definitely not bored of the cocoa butter one - I just think it smells gorgeous. I've had compliments on it. And I love the way this stuff sinks in.
I've just UUed the Strawberry Extract body butter. I too love the texture as it's so creamy. This one smelt good too - not synthetic smelling.
Another Uu also is the Radox Shower Smoothie that has been languishing in the bathroom for eons. Not a fan. It was too runny and the pips didn't do anything - were they meant to be exfoliating?
Have coloured my hair also. Look human again. xcity_girl_258 wrote: »Off topic but need a bit of a moan...

Ouch. That sounds awfulI hope that it heals very soon. This may be an odd question but do you drink your green smoothie with a straw? I always do as I got it into my head it would be better for my teeth (no idea if that's true! :rotfl:) but I wondered if it would help you minimise contact with your ulcer.
As VALM said, well done on exercising! The two things that I need to do asap are resume drinking green smoothies and try a very short yoga or pilates session, so you are way ahead of me!
I also love Nuxe skincare. It's incredibly gentle and lovely. I'm not using any at the moment but you reminded me to dig out my moisturiser for combination skin0 -
Dolly - thank you for saying you hope I like my new dress! I finally managed to collect it and I love it. It's just the right fit. It's an Alice Temperley for John Lewis dress and it was massively reduced in the sale :-) I'm not sure about wearing it for the wedding but that depends on the weather. (I sorted through my clothes and have a shortlist of three options depending on how I feel on the day, whether my weight has changed and what the weather is like.) I think I'm keeping the dress regardless as I like it so much and it's machine washable, which is surprising for a more formal/delicate dress
I will report back on the Nanoblur. I haven't put make-up on since I bought it but I remember the mixed reviews when it launched. Porefessional doesn't work for me - it looks wonderful at first but then seems to make my skin produce more oil than normal! I was very glad to have a sample of it as I would've been tempted to try it and it's pretty expensive.
I'm getting close to some UUs but everything is going so slowly at the moment! Especially a never-ending eye cream I'm not that keen on :rotfl:0 -
Why do I have so much body lotion, can't see to get rid of the dam stuff :P:beer:No Buying Toiletries 2015 challenge :beer:Last bought : April 10th

Ha! I have the same problem. I read an article that said choose your favourite/best one to help get you in the habit of using it and then hopefully it will get easier0 -
Hello all,
I'm still in, with a few UU's to report.
Dr Bronners magic soap 200ml eucalyptus. Love it, made me feel very fresh. However, will cause a serious eye sting if it gets to close, and not good for lady parts if you have sensitive skin. WBA.
One bar of solid simple soap. Personally, this is a HG product. I have never found anything better for personal lady parts. It does not sting and does not smell. Have already repurchased.
Oral B pro expert toothpaste 75ml. My dentist gave me this as a free sample ages ago. Liked it well enough, would not buy, can't say would not buy again because I did not buy it the first time!
Rituals Zensation rice milk and cherry blossom foaming shower gel. I either had a dud can, or my expectations were off. This product smelled lovely, but instead of foaming out of the can it dribbled out with minimal foam. This has put me off, WNBA.
St Eval candle company sandalwood candle. 45 Hours burn time with woody scent. This was a gift a couple of years ago and it has taken me a while to get started with it. Absolutely lovely, made the bathroom smell delightful. Will buy it if I see it.
Body shop hemp hand protector hand cream 100ml. Love it, really good for very dry skin of for winter use. Subtle smell. I like woody smells so this works for me. If you don't know what this smells like I suggest smell it before you buy it because some people won't like the smell. Will buy again, but not until I have used up others in my stash.
Some of my make up items I have placed in a box for more frequent use. This is working, and I am enjoying more of my products. I'm not being too hard on myself wanting to use up every last bit, using it at all is an improvement for me. I got out of the habit of wearing make up and so my items were just getting old. Now they are being used and I see that as progress.
Hugs all!
Love
Kiss
