Kitchen looking much better, most clutter rehomed, aga top and front cleaned, granite cleaned and polished, floor hoovered, washing up done, front door mat in the WM and front door masking taped ready for glossing. DH's contribution: changed a light bulb in there - actually just wiggled it and it is now working.

I've also fed the birds, put random things in the outside bin, put the laundry away and hoovered the hall.

You all sound as if you have achieved a lot:T
I had a bad night for no reason other than vaguely planning my arranging of the church lilies for Easter in my head, so couldn't sleep and ended up making a cup of tea and playing mindless games on tablet at 3.30; consequently I wasn't very lively and stayed in bed too long.

Did at least get the additional bits for the arrangement picked and in water to condition them before the rain started. Oasis in to soak and container sorted out, various flower mags consulted for inspiration.

Plan was to start arranging after we'd been to town for various DIY-type things - ugh it was heaving with cars and totally gridlocked; took us ages. Luckily we got nearly everything we wanted, and of course 'cheap' packs of seeds and bulbs fell into my bag. However it all took so long, I've now not got quite enough time (or good light) to start the arrangement as we've got friends and MIL to dinner this eve.

I've put the roast in the oven, peeled veg and got fruit out of the freezer for a crumble. Mr N has tidied the lounge/diner.

Had a long phone chat with my brother.

So - not quite enough time to do anything of significance and not enough inspiration even for a HHC so I suspect it will be wasting time on forums and/or kindle.

DH has painted the inside of the kitchen door
I've scrubbed the paint off the hall quarry tiles

Been to Hbse to re buy the paint I brought at full price last week at 15% off, will be returning the first lot. Got a lovely lightshade for the landing there too and my SIL's birthday present so pleased with that little trip.

Feeling a bit rough now, IBS really didn't like having a HCB so will just potter for a bit now whilst cooking dinner.

    How is it 6pm already???

Sorted lots of piles of clothes and edited down to a packable amount. Well I've done the kids stuff and my evening clothes, just need to sort my swims and day stuff, which I'll do tonight. I wasn't going to do it yet but I had so much stuff lying around I thought I'd be as well putting some away and making space. Will also sort the toiletries tonight.

DS and I just having some dinner. DD isn't eating :o she says she's full.

I want them in bed on time tonight, DS has some sleep to catch up on.

    Hello

Today I have booked the cat into a cattery, was having a mild panic as they all seemed to be booked up.

I changed and washed a set of bedding, washed up and make some Easter chocolates.

It's half term now so all I'll do now is trip over toys and make food for a week whilst the kids are off.

    Have fun

Very little done on the flying front today

Had a very long lie in, then when I did get up my back was very achey and sore (laid in bed too long !!!)

Had a long soak in the bath, revelled in the marvellousness of my 333 wardrobe (looks lovely-I even cleared away a space in the airing cupboard so all of the rucksacks and travel bags could get OFF THE FLOOR)
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
