    Hiya everyone :easter_ba:

Do you think the flylady method might help me?! And if so, where/how do I start please?!x
    Welcome on board.

I would start on Monday and do the first part of the list if you feel up to it and if it needs doing. Then do a bit more if you want.

I found that as the weeks go by, and the rooms come round again, it seems quicker and easier each time. I just try to keep on top of it all now where I can. My bug-bear is all the accumulated paper-work that never seems to lessen - but I will get there eventually :)

LW - glad you enjoyed your holiday and the blue lake looks fabulous. Sorry about your 'paw' and hope soon improves.

Kaz - hope all okay (hug)

Things left to do from listies
    Strip and wash the bedding
Vacuum the mattress before remaking the bed
    test those smoke alarms!!
    make a shopping list...
    HHI

Hugs, sticks and spoons to all needing/wanting some and hope you all have a fabulous Friday

Thank you for the welcome! I have had a read through and think I've got it!

Just a quick q if ok! Does the order of rooms and days assigned to them change every week?

    Morning,
They do often change, yes. And some use their own list - me included this week as Mon-Wed was a bit hectic with paid stuff.

Bit tired now, DS was up in the night crying :o although he wasn't sure why, he is still in bed now, but DD got up at 6.30. Oh, he's just come stumbling in now. Very bleary eyed.

Grey, misty and wet here so can't chuck them out in the garden really. Hoping for a peaceful day, couple of films maybe and a communal lounge on the sofa... :D

    Hi all.

    Panic not, I aiten't dead....:D

And very glad we are to hear it too!! Glad you had a great time, you deserve it.

Off on our little jolly today, in the pouring rain, but who cares? 3 days away from home has got to be a good thing.

DS was diagnosed with a condition that is closely linked to autism and we havent had all the test results yet but he may actually be on the autistic spectrum. It explains a lot. However, starting to read websites about autism very late last night was not a good idea.

Hope you all have a nice Easter weekend.

Oh and welcome Am we are a very friendly bunch - although much chit chat goes on around here which does interfere with the flying at times but thats no bad thing!

    Morning all.

Nice to have you back with us, LW - glad you enjoyed the eclipse and northern lights *jealous*
Belated Happy Birthday to Mrs-mp's DS2.
    Welcome AM.

Had a day out with DGS 1+2 yesterday and left them with DH for an hour or so to go on a canal tunnel boat trip while I decluttered a hospital appointment, then delivered them to DD in London at the height of the rush hour. I travelled on to Sussex to spend the night with my friend, and am looking forward to meeting her DD (my goddaughter) for lunch and discussing wedding cake designs. Back home tonight, then off to York with DH tomorrow to visit my brother; he was moved out of hospital yesterday into a nursing home just round the corner from his own home, for further rehab and physio - very relieved that my SiL can walk there easily, rather than having to drive across town. Hoping to meet up with CY for coffee/lunch: anyone else planning to be in York tomorrow morning?

It looks as if the only flying to be done this weekend in our house will be DH tidying round before he goes out to work on the railway today, plus anything I do when I get home late this afternoon. If we're out, it will stay tidy ;)

Hope everyone who is traveling today has a safe journey, and all those staying at home have time over the weekend to relax - especially Kaz (you sound as if you've got too much on your plate atm).

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round x

    Morning flyladies.

Ionafan - I won't be in York tomorrow unfortunately so will have to wait till the 17th to see you again. Never mind.

As predicted last night, raining here so gardening will be planting seeds in the greenhouse. So far this morning I've had a lie in till 7.30, had a hot cross bun for breakfast, fed the dogs, washed up and watered my indoor plants.

My boss turned down a job offer for me from his bosses this week without even telling me about it first. I don't want the job but that's not the point. He has apologised. So glad to have four day away from the paid stuff.

Right time to do a quick hoover downstairs to keep on top of the dog hairs and then get dressed.

    Have a great day everyone.

Jazee that's so out of order! How dare he? I'd be raging x

Gotta laugh, DS is seriously grumpy today - overtired from being up in the night. Making breakfast I asked him what was the matter and how can we shake it out. DD said "mummy you didn't ask what's my matter?" So I replied "you don't have a matter, pet, you're fine" her reply was "no I'm not, I've been whinging all morning and I can't stop" :rotfl: she does make me laugh :D

MIL said the lanzarote weather forecast is rain  better take our macs and some proper shoes yikes. Suppose they might use kids club on the days we can't go swimming, ah well. A holiday is a holiday...

    Morning all

Today I shall get my house back in order for visitors, moving furniture around and general spring loveliness. Once I've found my GUAG that is ;)
Thank you for the welcome! I have had a read through and think I've got it!

Just a quick q if ok! Does the order of rooms and days assigned to them change every week?

Yes they change, Natty does them one week (she's the tough one)< I do them the next week and they are easier (cause I'm more lazy and disorganised). They are only ever a guide and mine are usually indicative of what my house needs doing the most. You need to work out what works for you. We are friendly, supportive and never judgemental. We all do what we can depending on our lives. The idea is to get on top of the cleaning, do a bit of deeper cleaning and get rid of some clutter to make it all easier. You are most welcome to join us.

Bossy I have a grumpy DS3, DS1&2 are still in bed.

LW lovely to have you back and glad you saw the NL and glimpses of the eclipse

YL hugs for you and your DS, the new diagnosis must be a bit of a shock, I hope in time it helps to find ways to make life easier for you both x

Jazee I'm glad he apologised and I hope he realises just how out of order he was

Shower then hoovering cause that will make me feel better and give an instant tidier look.

Yes, boss realises how wrong he was, didn't even reply to my message about it, phoned the next day. But at least I now know who to approach for my next move when he really gets on my nerves.

I have hoovered right through the house. Still raining.

Been swimming this morning and stayed for tea and cake and Easter activities afterward! Lovely! Got home and sorted out all Easter pressies! I have these bright ideas for Easter presents when it would be much quicker and cheaper! To just buy an egg. I have bought Minnie mouse cups for the girls and filled them with sweets and eggs and little Nick nacks e.g. Hair clips, pencils, crayons etc and then wrapped them in cellophane. The boys have got books or activity type presents which needed wrapping! Anyway it is all done!

Hubby has started packing! my idea of packing is sorting stuff out into three piles- packing, charity shop, bin! Hubby just throws it all in one box and tapes it up! We can sort it out when we move was his reply. I wouldn't mind but we have got ages so no rush to pack yet! I am half way through my music magpie order so plan to get that off in the next few days!
Dad was a lot brighter last night and they are going to try and get him up today so that's a good sign! It's hard work fetching and carrying and visiting and having mum over so much. My mum is never away from my dad as he can't really be left on his own so she is finding it quite strange!

Hubby has organised for his bro and niece and nephew to come over this afternoon so that will be nice and then mum coming for dinner at 4.

    Rest of yesterday's list...

Thrilling Thursday - Kitchen and Dining mess

Sort through the freezer.. what do you have loads of and what needs using first.. vacuum up those escaping peas and brussels!!
Meal plan for the next week and make a shopping list... based on what you found in the freezer.
    HHI

I think k I am going to have start adding my bits to the list as some of things I can't be bothered with now I know we will be moving (does that make me lazy?) and I should start adding in more sorting and packing sot of jobs!
