DS2 godmother/my friend just popped round for a cuppa and a natter and to bring DS an Easter egg and his birthday card for tomorrow, DH has been fed and returned to work. Played Twitter tennis with DD1 for a while, have just found the best cleaning tip ever on Pinterest so my cooker splash back is now gleaming so much so I carried on and did the hob inside and outside the oven door and am just about to tackle the hood. Prettily easily impressed arent I:rotfl:
Not sure why I got sidetracked by the kitchen I'm not even supposed to be in there, I just saw the tip and thought well that won't work, but I had the stuff so gave it a go. WOW!

Going to do the ironing next

Sorry I got so excited by it I hadn't realised I'd not put what it was:o:o mix 1tbsp of cream of tartar with a few drops of water so you get a milky liquid, (I did mine so it wasn't too liquid more of a runny paste) then rub that onto the greasy area with a sponge working it i until the greasy film disappears, then wipe off and buff dry with kitchen roll. The tip on Pinterest was how to clean a toaster that's got greasy film on it.

I've just done the cooker hood. I keep looking at the toaster now;)

Lol! Thanks. I will give it a go next time I persuade myself to clean the cooker!

We are spotless here and just waiting for the viewing!

Don't want to do anythng in case I make more mess. Ds1 has been bribed with sitting on the sofa with the iPad!

Here is the rest of my list...

Evening flyladies, I got distracted this morning with flower arranging, washing, washing up, hoovering, dog walking and sorting out a frog for DH so my kitchen is still not spick and span. Did clear the hotspots though.

Just been out for a meal with DH and DD.

Need to do some ironing tomorrow morning.

    See you all tomorrow.
Spend less now, work less later.

I busied in my bedroom.. I did find the toiletries bag I was looking for though s I can shave my body parts tomorrow!!

I filled 4 binbags of rubbish
    1 binbag for ebay
    2 boxes for DD1
put away my clothes, stropped because I'm a fat heifer and don't fit in 90% of them and they are pretty.. and I am utterly sick of leggings and tunic.. utterly utterly sick of it!

Oh yes.. snidey dig pointed at OH ... again.

Off to list 5 more dollops of gubbin on ebeast.. so sick of all this stuff everywhere!

Oooh.. I forgot... DS2 was traumatised by a bedding change. I has Squeak pick up the duplo as punishment for hiding sopping wet pullups in a corner of her room to stink. filled a binbag in there too. I once again put away Dots clothes.

Deposited the junior bed at DD1's outlaws for when spam sleeps there. A couple of sheets went too.

    chucked a broken drawer too.

Washed the throw from my bed and my sheets are going in Friday morning so we can come back from the outlaws and have a beautiful clean sniffy bed.. <3 My absolute favourite. I found a few pillow covers while flinging so my bedding will be all matchy too.

Oh pigpen- sounds like you are well and truly fed up! Calming vibes being sent your way.
I am in awe of how many bin bags of stuff you seem to get rid of! You have got rid of so many it must be looking better and surely you are finding less gubbins (I like that word) to get rid of! Keep your chin up- we've all been their at some point so know how you feel x x x x

By the time I had got the kids in bed and tidied up, I didn't have much time left. So just did another load of washing and started my mammoth task of cleaning the cd rack to send off to music magpie! I'm up to £7.20 so far and still needs to go! Most f the music is hubby's and I am shocked by some of his purchases! Strangely, they only offered 5p for the spice girls album! :rotfl:

    List for tomorrow...

Thrilling Thursday - Kitchen and Dining mess
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Wipe and replace small appliances
Wipe the front of the units, kickboards and the large appliances
Wipe dining table and replace cloth if needed
    Wash the windows???
Sort through the freezer.. what do you have loads of and what needs using first.. vacuum up those escaping peas and brussels!!
Wipe down paintwork/sideboards/units in dining room
Meal plan for the next week and make a shopping list... based on what you found in the freezer.
    Clean filters and detergent dispensers

I had an email from Asda this morning inviting me to try their new scratch n sniff mobile technology <facepalm> lol.

Busy working day, all finished but I am beyond tired, I have 6 days to regroup and get ready for hols! DD is with granny, she is having her "princess day" tomorrow and they are seeing the new Cinderella movie (in lieu of not going on the train trip, whenever that is). DS is here and we had a lovely evening. A jigsaw, reading, chatting, cuddling. He's a very smoochy boy when he's not trying to annoy his little sister, and very good company :)
So tomorrow he'll be in school and I'm blitzing the house and popping to the shopping centre (cropped leggings for little girls required...)

Yawn. Hope you're all ok, I've read but not really retained :o

Where is Lamewolf? Still on holibobs? Hope they're having a good time.

Been to my friend's dad's funeral this pm. Lots of attendees; former colleagues and others he knew as well as family. Family flowers only on the coffin were absolutely gorgeous, beautifully arranged. *makes note of florist used*
