    Afternoon Peeps,

After dreading going back to work this week, and wishing I could stay home sick, I have now got flu and I am at home and feel awful! Be careful what you wish for.

Dropped DH at work thismorning and thought I would look for reduced wine in T on the way back, but couldn't focus, so left empty handed. (Really, what was I thinking!). Went back to bed only to keep being woken up by phone calls from cold callers!

Time for more ASDA Flu tablets!

    Good afternoon:wave:

We're Just sat in the sunshine:j it's not a bad day today...
I've just used one of those glitchy (for everyone else except me :))Ariel 3 in 1 liquitab thingies ... They do smell really nice, there's a gentle fragrance wafting. They do feel bizarre when you touch them:eek: still not sure id pay full price again though;)

I've washed my dry clean only curtains.... Fingers crossed they don't shrink through the shock of being clean:o they are huge, each curtain is actually two sewn together as we had to have them made and they touch the floor not at all mse. Which is why they don't get washed very often:eek:

I'm quite happy for them to be this price (ie not £1), it stops me buying them, very MSE!

    how have your 2 done?

My youngest was so fed up, such a long day from 8.30 to 5.30 with only half an hour for lunch but I think yesterday he got into the swing of things. There are 7 on the course and they are all talking to each other now - brothers in adversity.
The others moan about the coldness of the water- youngest says that is nothing, I have to hurl myself into Ullswater every Monday, that is proper cold :rotfl:
The exam bit is 3 hours on Saturday afternoon - very annoying. We are picking him up afterwards so he can get his train homeward - so he is going to be knackered by Saturday night - 3 hours exam and 2 hours on the train.

He also says they have to do 20 hours a year or have to re do the entire course in 2 years time. Is this the same for yours?

They both passed thanks for asking. We are doing applications this weekend for jobs!

Their course tutor wasn't that great I don't think, he told them they have to do 2 hours training a month, but didn't tell them how they can do it, where they can do it, or who can sign it off. I did try and impress on them how important it was to get all the details, but of course they didn't!

Am sure your son will be absolutely fine and pass with flying colours. My kids tutor reckons he hasn't had a single failure and taught around 800 people.
