Fabulous bag Snap-ant. Will you use it?

I'm off to Geneva tomorrow, returning early Sunday evening. Are there any must sees that I can fit into such a short space of time? Forecast is rain for both days :( otherwise the lake would have been nice.

I honestly think that the majority of Scottish peeps are for the uk its just the snp will not accept the outcome of their peoples votes.

I totally agree with the rest of your post. its the snp alienating the rest of the uk not the Scottish people. I was not voting tory this time but I feel I have to to keep labour out as they will be puppets to the snp.
and my vote will count as whoever wins Swindon always end up in government.

I feel I upset a few of my Scottish friends on here at times so will not comment again about this. but please note the snp are alienating me, and my whole family are Scottish. so it upsets me greatly to see this rift dividing our nation. :(

my brother even voted for independence.:(

This is true, the SNP won't accept that Scotland said NO. They are alienating Scottish people and driving a wedge between the rest of the UK

  • This is just a theory at the moment and only one for those that are happy doing HD/CC.

These boxes of Nescafe sachets have all been £1.49 for weeks in A and that is probably the real price for them, however, this morning in my store all the labels were for £1.98 each, so a 49p increase.

If you look on msm and A.com they all show at £2.98 each, however bought in twos most should compare nicely to S at 2 for £3 and some should compare individually v M at £1.49.

My guess is that they will go in your basket at £2.98 each, you will only actually pay £3.96 for two and the apg will return £3.26, making them cost 35p per box.

Can anyone get out to their local this afternoon to check what price they really are? Unfortunately I forgot to check when I was in the shop and can't get back out now.:o

    Thanks.

Have you managed to register on the myaviva app successfully?

I was getting nowhere so I messaged them via their FB page and the tech guys had to manually "push" it and finally I have registered this morning. ive logged out and logged in and all seems to be fine.

Ive been using the main computer - phone has gone walkabout somewhere in the house - but hopefully it should be the same
I haven't been able to try again, as I didn't note down the policy number, so will have to wait for the paperwork to arrive.

Good morning all, lovely sunny day here :D

OK, I'm going to join in with the political rants just this once.

Scotland is against the UK, in that the SNP wants independence.

Taken from their own webpage "The SNP is a social democratic political party committed to Scottish independence. The party has been at the forefront of the campaign for Scottish independence for over seven decades. "

Who do you think pays for all the extras you get? It is the Barnett formula, under which you get about £1200 extra over and above what we English get per person per annum.

You want fairness, lets scrap that and even out what is given to all the areas in the UK.

And while we are about it, stop your people voting on the laws that only apply to the English (example above). Scottish MPs voted in tuition fees for England, I don't notice tuition fees in Scotland. Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland have their own parliaments/assemblies in which English cannot vote, why should you vote on English laws?

Oh, and no baying and jeering in parliament? Maybe dissent is not allowed?

    Rant over.

PS, if anyone bar the above op reasonably requests me to remove this then I will, just angers me sometimes.
What do you class as reasonably? :D

Have you had any lily beetle?

I got a few packs of reduced mont blanc lillies last year and we got quite a few - first time we have had to deal with them

Haven't had any yet this year, they are usually a frequent visitor to my garden although they never leave:)

thanks x not sure the asda bit will work:o he says every job is important as the next and some people are happy being dustmen while others are happy being lawyers and we should all find the job we are happy in no matter what others think of it.
and in proof he says dd2 oh loves his job and works on the recycling lorry,

I will try telling him it will be easier to choice the job he wants to do if he gets the qualifications, and to get them he needs to work hard, do not want to pressure him to much he is only in year 10, and I am not sure I approve of the school putting so much pressure on young pupils..
