I think for the other solicitor it just goes into petty cash to be accounted for as he would not be the one with your case file. Sounds like yours made a 100% mark up:mad:

For the best part of 20 years I have have been going for smear tests and for 20 years they've been 'abnormal' resulting in some quite unpleasant treatment
My NHS trust has changed their testing policy and have decided instead of detecting abnormal 'likely cancer creating' cells they will test for the HPV virus instead......it's responsible for 70% of cervical cancer. I came in just after the introduction and have just had a letter today confirming my second clear from HPV smear test.
I question thisso after nearly 20 years of abnormal tests. I have 2 clear tests after the testing policy has changed
am I worried? YES. Have I had 20 years of unnecessary treatment? or am I missing out on treatment I should be having now?
I spoke to a professor at my uni the other day who was under the impression that if you have the HPV virus then it's present and doesn't ever go away.
it's been bothering me
Isn't the HPV virus the one young teens can have an inoculation against?
I agree as also had numerous abnormal smears in the past until luckily a gyne Dr linked it to a few other things and decided a hysterectomy was the best thing.
He had planned partial leaving ovaries and cervix in place but once he got into the disaster zone that was once my children's first apartment everything had to go. I have seen the histology reports and very shocking.
If you have any slight irregularities get checked out properly. I had about 10 years of smears every 6 months and wasn't until I changed health authority they got to the problem.
Sorry for a female topic fellas but I dare say most of you discuss these things and will have to make choice on HPV vaccination for your daughters. Big shame not done on nus for boys as can cause throat cancer so I would seriously think about getting teenage boys vaccinated too. Meant to be before sexual active but for boys costs about £300. For the next generation should save the nhs alot on resources if this is irradiated as most females get it sooner or later most by 25.
Falls off soap box, rolls over and goes back to TV.

Not very :money: but buy yourself a new duvet set, new pillows and get into bed. I found it easier doing it this way as it took away the familiar 'our' bed and made it 'mine'There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0
