Talking of work, everyone I talk to is under more and more pressure
Its not good the fact we want everything as cheap as possible and that means cuts somewhere along the line
We have by our need and greed set employment rights back about 60 years.
Evangeline walk away let her keep the money. You could make it up in apgs. Karma will catch her x0 -

Yes the only exception to that is discrimination cases which don't have minimum service limits.0 -
Hello afternoon everyone- im back from my short break to Majorca with DH and 14 year old teenage monster (grandson). Had a fairly stress free time, we were going to teat ourselves and eat out but.... RTC fresh meat put paid to that, I couldn't resist and bought enough meat for 6days, together with RTC veg for stir fry but full priced strawberries:eek:
DH done some wombling and found 1 euro in a trolley:)
14 year old monster had a bet on the grand national as we always have done for many years - he only picked the winner out and won £125 he only had £2.50 ew on it so he was happy:j planning to put the money towards a ps4:(:(
At Palma airport yesterday DH ordered from B.King a bbq rib burger advertised for 5.50 euro but was charge 3.50 euro - 'glitch'
Stopped at T on the way home for BNI and small pp after buying 2 Kormas realised they were dated 12th went CC who exchanged them for 2 different curries I had my pp and apology but I think an email to cc is called for??
:j:j:j DIL was kept in St Thomas hospital in London after being at work all day and went just to drop of a sample (38 weeks pregnant) due to leave work the following day. Everything was fine she had diabetes that one can get with pregnancy, and high blood pressure. :jLast night she gave birth to a perfect little boy, my 2nd grandson:j
Weighing in at 6lbs 7 oz was a good weight considering he was nearly 2 weeks early and DIL is Pilipino (but brought up in London/devon for most of her life)so she is tiny, DS is white British and nearly 6 foot. I cant wait to visit at the weekendso lots of trips down to London for me- Ill have to check out the local As whilst there;)
Now to go and catch up and see what I have missed- any good offers or glitches around at the moment?
coffee any one?:coffee:
Congratulations on your new GS. You must be wonderful grandparents taking your Eldest GS on holiday. Hope you had fun.0 -

I'm a bit dim when it comes to breed namesare black star and bovan nera the same? Looking forward to the double yokers
wish my hens layed eggs like that :rotfl::rotfl:
everyone here loves the double yokers so they take it in turn to have one. dont get that many though.
your right they are the same hybred i think cross between Rhode Island Red and a plymouth rock cross, different breeders cross them and use different names, I think they are also called a Rhode Rock xx0 -
Evangeline1971 wrote: »Yes it is only for a few weeks but I didn't mean about dismissal. Sorry I know I'm not explaining very well as I'm very anxious at the moment so don't get my point across properly. I believe she is lying about what customers have said so I'm going to call the customer and find out if she's unhappy with my clean. She's also accused me of stealing when I never said I wouldn't return the customers key. She's taken things I've said and twisted them to hurt me. Yes my partner takes control but I like it that way because otherwise people walk all over me and she is annoyed about him because he defended me last week over the money she refused to pay. I don't think she should be allowed to treat me like this and get away with it. Also I wouldn't have left my other job had she not promised me the admin work, which I then could not do because she kept sending me cleaning. I'm now out of a job because of her lies and not in any fit state to start a new one
So sorry to hear it is not working out. TBH you are better off out of it, if she is going to treat you so badly. I would be tempted to phone a couple of customers and tell them that you had a personality clash with the boss so aren't working for her anymore but are available if they know anyone who needs a cleaner. That way you can work for someone that has already met you directly.
You could send a letter for the money she owes you. Head it 'Letter Before Action' and give her 14 days to pay you. That is the nice way to behave, the not so nice way to behave is to hold on to the keys until she pays you! Or alternatively you could give them back to the customer. I'm idly wondering whether boss lady would be in trouble for handing keys over to customer?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
