Did anyone know you can see how S.bobs compares to As. Take a peep

What system are you working on - for weeks now all I get is a page and something about it having no certificate valid - this is with IE11 and also trying Google chrome, no joy either on the iPad using safari.

Good morning all, absolutely glorious day here :D

Will be spending the day in the garden, or at least some of it. Have to build a cage around my blueberries. Last year I netted them and the birds STILL got to the lovely berries :(

Also got to sieve some compost and transfer it to the front garden, so I imagine I will be sleeping well tonight :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Where'd he go?

Just had a mild panic. iPad started flashing bizarrely and wouldn't switch off. Lasted about 5 mins. Thought it had conked:o. It's about 3 years old and I thought I'd finally worn it out:rotfl:

I'd already decided I would have to go and buy a new one immediately as it's like my right hand but all is good.

    Relief

Strangely enough my 4 year old Acer Iconia does this from time to time. I just turn it off and on again and it is fine *touches wood*.

We never had prob at old house if you wanted something removed just didnt nail it down :rotfl:

Skip hire is expensive !! prob cheaper renting van to remove to tip x

Just one note David. or anyone else, if you do decide to do this check out whether your tip requires a permit to offload a van there. They are normally free but you will be stuck with a van load if you need a permit and don't have one!

mhoc, just because the line is engaged it does not mean they are talking to someone, could just be that someone else is trying to ring!

Doesn't sound too good, can you not find another B&B nearby?

OMG Jimmy Choose perfumes are extremely nice and far more expensive than CK1. We did try a perfume hunt after there was none in N's c and c but nothing to get excited over.

Trouble with landlords is if you complain they know they do not have to do sod all. My landlady has only ever fixed one thing and that was the burst pipe. She always leaves fencing down until landlord next door gets fed up and does it himself. Luckily my neighbours have an adorable terrier called vinny who comes to my patio door as he knows I will go in garden and play ball with him. Next door are good and pick up any little lawn presents he leaves.
My boiler is so noisy now I have to turn the whole thing off at night but I know her answer will be 'if you don't like it leave'. Had to replace carpets at my own expense after falling down the stairs several times due to extremely worn carpet.
I agree take photos. When I moved in here letting agent supplied photos of any areas of concern but still took my own.

There was a prog about this on radio 2 Friday afternoon about difficult landlords - might be on listen again.

All you can do is keep diaries and photos and document all of your contacts with your landlord.

My eldest moved about 7 times when she was at uni so I could write a book about landlords including the very cold winter when they had no central heating for weeks and had to rely on some very ancient electric bar fires the landlord dropped off.

As you say they could be ringing out rather than taking a call.

Yes there are masses of other places locally and when I've gone through the usual websites like laterooms and booking.com then no where seems that busy, plenty of availability but prices have gone silly. I've also gone very mean and try to do it all on a budget :D

Last year I did 3 of these midweek magical mystery tours and they all worked out perfectly but I've kept this one very simple and yet I can't get booked in.

I got a livingsocial deal so the price is fabulous but there is nothing even similar in the same area. I used a groupon offer earlier in the year and I had no problems booking, no problems using the offer etc.
