I thought it would be a good idea to check and called hmrc

For an example spend £10 on goods and sell for less and you keep your receipts your making a loss it does not matter if it's cash or coupons and hmrc don't require you to register as a trader but I should keep a record of it. However if I buy loads of 2p items and then resell at a profit then that would be profit. So I'm happy with that. She also said that personal allowances would be offset out of profit.

Stick with us and before you know it you will be counting without using fingers and toes :p

I'll stick to counting with my fingers and toes (don't often need to count past 24 anyway)

    Good morning Elite :hello:

Sunny start to the day here in Suffolk. Off to get ready as early start, need to be at hospital for 9am and guess what? I have to get to the other side of the town where the hospital is, all the work/school traffic

Happy shopping, nsd for me :cool:

    See you later x

    Good luck today.

Morning all. DS has been deposited at work. I feel like going back to bed, but will resist the temptation! Do other people feel exhausted all the time? I wake up feeling just as tired as when I went to bed, and am permanently knackered. :(

No plans today so might actually be able to keep up on here for a change! :D

    Morning all.

If anyones wine lake is looking low, check out Marks wine pages, 25% off if you buy 2 cases or more - I've done a test with 3 cases and the discount applies. Spend more than £50 to get free delivery

I did a test run with 3 cases of Grillo - it took £19.10 for the discount and £3.50 off for free delivery, leaving £57.31

£57.31 divided by 18 bottles = £3.18 - cheaper than the !!!!!! mystery bottles and at least you know what you are getting.

    Gazzera Grillo - Case of 6 | £25.47
    00915977 | Qty:3

also useful if you have conditional spends vouchers or credit vouchers to use up :D

so if this is your only source of income then its fairly easy - everyone has around £10k personal allowance - for some people though its more complicated than that - they might have a full time job but with variable hours, maybe also a small pension from a past employer and they also sell on amazon, ebay, car boots, facebook etc - that's when things get complicated :)

i used to be like that, totally exhausted by 9am! In fact I cut down my working hrs because of it. To cut a long story short it turned out I had an under active thyroid. All sorted now.

I think by now everyone here knows my thoughts on the above and I was going to keep my mouth shut on the matter BUT it does seem to be getting worse now.

I only signed in to answer a question further up the page but have to say I agree with anon and fairclaire both very good advice.

To add to this it does seem that we have gone from the 'Elite' to the 'greedy' at the rate some people are going MrA could well rethink the apg and then we all will miss out as not everyone wants to grab ££££££ from the store.

Greedier than r&r, DTD and the big APG glitch ?
