Someone on the wombling group on facebook has just mentioned the change to the APG page as well, and that their receipt the checked but didn't print is now showing completely different results.

I've just checked, and mine seems fine. I'm not techie at all, why would people be getting different pages?

vt and Evangeline - hope you like the skechers! I love mine, got a pair of pumps and a pair of trainers and they are the most comfortable shoes in the world. I do find they come up fairly big though, I'm normally a 7 in most shops but have to order a 6 in the go walks.

ta for this, I was having a ponder about these - I always have a new pair of walking trainers in readiness - I think I will need to go instore first to do some trying on to make sure I have the right size.
I am 5 and a half which is a pain as half sizes as half sizes are a rarity.

Lovely and sunny here so its a day in the garden for me....it needs a good tidy and a few bushes chopping back so whilst I would like to sit and enjoy it,a bit of work needs doing first...

Another glorious day. Picked a good week to be off work :)

It's going to be a picnic in the park today. Need to nip out to get some supplies though seeing as there's not much in my fridge :o :rotfl:

Hope you all have a love day whatever you're doing.

I thought you were on a long drive today or have you already been :D

I was impressed last night that you have three showers - a sign of true poshness :rotfl: - just one bathroom and one shower room here so queues are inevitable :D

    I'm not leaving until lunchtime.

Showers isn't a sign of poshness......it's a sign of not wanting to shower in the true grottiness that is the bathrooms my children use :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DS2 has a walk in wet room type shower. All non slip and nothing to climb in and out of because of his mobility/balance problems. It was meant to encourage him to have some independence in his teenage years. Instead he insists on still having a bath when he can get away with it :o which requires the assistance of his very tolerant big brother ;)

I'd try the 5 on, would probably be perfect. Majority of reviews about them agree they come up big.

I'm hoping when I go to the States in the summer to pick up some more. Think they're a bit cheaper out there. :)

    Morning all

Still cloudy and foggy here. Was thinking of going to the seaside aka mud on thames lol but dont know whether its worth it now.

Got a HD last night and the 10 UDI's were replaced with cereal bars. Just putting them away and noticed 4 of them were BBE January 15 :eek: Wondering whether I should take them back seeing as I used a £50 evoucher to pay for my shopping (paid £15 cash too  ) or just forget about it. Im guessing they will still be ok to eat :o

For the first time ever, I've paid out for things to be done to the house - new kitchen installation. This has included the boiler being moved, flooring, new ceiling as well as all the usual kitchen cupboards. Its supposedly completed now but i have queries about what I should expect.
For instance, new skirting and architrave. i bought this, and its been installed, which i've been billed for. However, they have left the labels on? Also the mitering (?) at the top of the door isnt great. I dont know if Im being petty expecting better than this.
Also the flooring - laminate - there is a gap of 7mm next to the back door.
Ive had enough of pointing out things to them - from the kitchen door hinges only being held on by one screw each, holes being left in the external wall where drainage pipes were moved, crooked electrical sockets.
But this has been extremely un MSE, and they want their final payment - and I want rid of them!
So do i let it go, or moan again?? :(
:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:

I'd make a list of all the things you want putting right before you make the final payment. Ask them to sort what youre not happy with. It's not unreasonable to ask them to sort out what sounds like shoddy work before you pay them. Also take photos for your records.....just in case.

    Hope you get it sorted.

No you dont. I worked for a civil engineering company for some years and before we were paid for jobs we were sent a snagging list and the items on it had to be sorted before final payment. My sister recently had a new roof and they made a right mess of it. She was all for paying the final bill but I told her to just ring the roofer and say what was wrong and that she would not pay final bill until it was sorted. He came and redid the roof and also fitted free guttering and fascia boards and all was well.
Just make a list ans email it to them and say very nicely you wont be paying final payment until you are happy with it.
I made the mistake some years ago of having new kitchen windows and paying them same day and the window ledges were a mess and they never returned.
