Good morningLadyshopper wrote: »Just ordered some skechers go walks from Brantano using the code thats gone out in the weekly MSE email to get 40% off everything. The site is so slow, reckon everyone must be ordering! :rotfl:
Go walks are literally the most comfortable shoes ever, I have a pair of the pumps and also a pair of trainers, they saved me on my trip to Leeds as did a fair bit of walking and I've been really suffering with my back when i do any kind of walking at all, but didn't get any back ache until the last day wearing these.
Thanks for this, I've ordered a pair in navyBeen wanting some for ages but too expensive before but £28.80 is an ok price to pay if they stop my feet aching

This morning I left to go and sort the chickens out and found the dividing wall between mine and my neighbours house has "collapsed". With no wind to speak of last night, [STRIKE]I find it hard to believe that it would have just come down with no reason. [/STRIKE]
Turns out that someone decided to "borrow" a car last night and wrap it round the telegraph pole at the end of my drive.
I had a migraine and slept through the whole thing- the crash, them trying to drive off, them dumping it, the police, the pick up truck, the lot :eek:
A neighbour just came across to tell us what happened as she's got it all on cctv :T
MG normally moans that I park the car too far back on the drive. He's thanking me for it this morning :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well at least you had a good night's sleep!“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -
Good morning all, lovely sunny day herefairclaire wrote: »Can anyone help with my plumbing?
One of my showers has suddenly had a big drop in pressure overnight. Worked fine yesterday but only getting hot today on full blast and has very little pressure. It's an electric over bath shower. I've had the panel off the bath and there's no leaks from the pipes.
I've looked and reckon if I need a new shower unit I could fit it myself but obviously don't want to splash out of it might be something totally different.
TIA
I know you have had a lot of answers on this one but only scanned back. Our electric shower has it's own outlet from the cold water tank. We had a drop in power from it once, turned out someone had knocked the cover from the tank slightly and something had dropped in it and been sucked up to the outlet, partially covering it.queen_of_cheap wrote: »Morning all

OMG, so lucky they got it on CCTV, I bet MG will be parking the car like you from now on :rotfl::rotfl: Hope you get it sorted easily enough, those things can be a mare to sort! If the police catch the idiot they may even be able to get some compensation out of them for you. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Yesterday I cleaned a new clients house but she refused to pay as she was unhappy with some parts of the clean, even though she admitted the 2 children's rooms were lovely so she should have paid something :mad:OH kicked off about this and I had to calm him down as he was going to phone my boss threatening legal action because my boss said she wasn't going to pay me as the client hadn't paid her. Really fed up with my job situation, it seems it's too much to hope for I find a job that's bearable without some idiot causing problems so I'm having to look for something else again
the job itself is ok but I don't want the worry of getting another client like her then I don't get paid, although my boss finally agreed to pay me 2 hours instead of 4 after I argued that I'd done the work and this client is a liar. I need to know well ahead of time what jobs I've got on but boss rarely lets me know until the evening before then often changes the plans anyway and this is the biggest problem for me to deal with since it stops me making my own plans

"Oh what a beautiful morning"
Deffinately makes you feel better when you open the curtains and see pure blue sky:j
I was having a nosey on Pinterest last night, has anyone painted any garden pots in glow in the dark paint?? The pictures look fab but Mr monkeys a bit sceptical...
My plan for today is to start a paved border between the grass and the plants, my previous line has got awol;) looks easy but probably isn't when I have monkeys as helpers:)
Have a lovely day and remember the sun block...
