Thanks I have to fill tank tomorrow so will keep this in mind while comparing local fuel prices. Not going to get caught having to by fuel at South Mimns again:mad:
Beautiful day today. Physio this morning but don't need to see anyone else until consultant in 6 weeks time.
Stupid fact. Not sure about other health care providers but ours are not allowed to reasign crutches. Was told might as well take them as are thrown away otherwise. They are not allowed to send abroad or give to charities:mad:
I was really shocked but will be really useful to have a second pair.

just saw this hopefully your shower is an easy fix
http://phil.lavin.me.uk/2011/11/simple-fix-for-low-pressure-or-no-water-in-electric-showers-change-the-solenoid-coil/
Sounds like an easy fix but personally where water and electrics are concerned put the family first and get someone in. When phoning plumber ask plenty of questions and tell them what you think it is first before paying a call out fee.
We have problems with dad's new walk in shower. Water doesn't drain away well and if you lift the plug filter up you can see it sitting there. No smell though. Mum says the drainage was never good in that house and seeing we have sold don't want to pay out but has anyone got an idea how we can remove some of this water so drainage isn't a problem on the buyers survey?
Think might need to use wet/dry vax or something. All the other house drainage works fine.

I ve just confused myself reading Google tonight and want to make sure it's not a problem elsewhere in the water system.
OK so maybe a manless society wouldn't work after allcould we keep them somewhere they can be called on for manly advice and be returned to afterwards?

I was in Mr.T and noticed that the CIF wipes are £1 until 14th April. Don't forget to use mymail £1 MOCs before this date.0

Just a footnote to my post above, when you buy instore A the APG matches the price paid against the competitor, no matter whether higher or lower than the online price (so long as no multi online to complicate it ...) - it takes three hours to process.
For an online shop, it takes the online price, no matter whether higher (or lower?) than the instore price - it processes this quickly (I have had the results in the car park before I have left the store).
The system therefore has the facility to match the price paid to the competitor (or more likely two slightly different systems) - perhaps the 3 hour delay is the part of the process that is reconciling the actual price paid instore with the competitor (whereas online it is instant as it already knows - or thinks it knows - as it is going on what is already locked in the system from the order/online price?
T system instore matches the prices instantly, online it doesn't arrive until later.
It should be technically possible for the system to match the price paid to the competitor, instantly, whether instore or online, for both A or T, should they wish and tweak their software accordingly.

V...I know it might seem shocking re crutches but they are all designed for specific types of surgery. important to use the right ones as the wrong ones can do as much damage as good in the wrong hands. Knee, and ankle surgeries put a lot of strain on the back.....even if it's not felt at the time. And the crutches are designed to the circumstances.
in our sad society, if someone was given a set of second hand crutches that subsequently caused or worsened another medical problem.....the NHS trust would be looking at compensation. Sad but very true.
I had the mis-fortune in recent years to have to work in medical negligence. Through need and not want believe me.....because some of the claims are outrageous to say the least!
From that side of things....your healthcare provider is covering themselves. and they should because the NHS are paying out a ridiculous amount of money out in negligence claims x0 -
