put head into large cup of vinegar overnight.
what you describe happens when you have a build up of lime.
I did that today zipgot a nice clean shower head but it didn't solve the problem. I did it because it's been dripping too and I thought it might have been blocked......even though I'm not in a particularly hard water area and limescale isn't much of a problem here.
Nice vinegar tip thoughI love it for cleaning and use loads of it. I don't buy cleaners. Sprays/wipes etc. I can clean and sanitise my whole house using smart price thin bleach, lemon juice, vinegar bicarbonate of soda, soda crystals and Milton sterilising fluid for anti bac. All very cheaply

Original Multi-Purpose I'd call them - T £4 vs M £3 - but not totally sure - had the details yesterday but not bothered with it today (it is still on in M) as seems no good at all. 126:eek: wipes for £3?:eek: Seems like over £1.70 equivalent for their downsized 72 pack - my guide on that is £1.50 or below, and even then. No good!
Also they had some 5 pack Cornettos (4 pack were 50p in M on clear-out a few months back) on their A receipt - they compared to M at more expensive price. They are £1.75 and 2 for £3 in A, again not very good at all in my view! (Unless you want Chocolate - they are £2.50 individual price in A, which may knock about 39p off (2 for £3 price:eek:) if you find a trigger or be worthwhile on CC if someone finds them instore on RTC.)
how ironic!I don't use them (the wipes) .....I honestly just posted about my cleaning habits before I read this :rotfl::rotfl:

davemorton, you need to fix post 1 where it says:On the results page you should click "Get voucher" before you take delivery of your next order. Failure to do this will result in you losing the first APG when you do your next online shop.0

FC, I think theres a rule that even if its just out of guarantee and it breaks, there is an eu rule about up to 6 years and of reasonable usage but cant remember exactly.im sure someone will come along and quote exactly the consumer thing im on about, sure it will be on this site cos martin was on tv about this sort of consumer rights...you will have fixed the shower before ive stopped waffling :rotfl:,:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:sorry.hope its aquick fix :A
If it is a mixer shower it used both hot and cold and therefore could be effected by other items using hot water supply.
Main thing is that you can answer the typical Help Desk questions without having to go back and forth to them. ILGD is totally correct, EU law requires goods to last a reasonable time and just not "warranty" period.0 -

OH says not to go forward with it, so I will leave it now and only do in store now
I am not saying you should or should not pursue it, it is your decision, but does not questionning it imply (to them) that you accept you have done something wrong? If you haven't done anything wrong, then wouldn't it be best to try to get it sorted/accounts unlocked to clear your and OH names (even if you then stick to instore APGs in future)?
Apart from the RTC C&C extra value deal, the APG is working as intended - as an example, Cathedral City Cheddar was £7.48 in some stores while RTC in others, and therefore correctly matched £7.48 v £4 T (note it has now changed in T to full price again according to MSM just now). As a result, if you have bought a few of these under normal circumstances, you would generate legitimate large APGs, likewise Bold etc.
A smart shopper buying like we do pre-matching our shops against one of their competitors could regularly get the deals, 10% extra and quite a large APG (easily more than £10 - I got more than that with beer and pizza last week due to matching offers in T on a normal shop).
Dishwasher tablets, washing liquids/tablets, shampoos, pizza, Muller, Dolmio ...a whole host of products under normal circumstances will give large APGs due to the pricing strategy of some product ranges in all stores - RRP price set intentionally high, discount down different sized packs at different times in different stores (using BOGOF, X for £, Half price). Time it right and you can always get the cheaper price minus 10%.
My point is that large APGs (on their own) may be explained and justified to someone who knows the APG system at A if they are wondering how you generated them, as the voucher system is working comparing the price on A and the competitor. If they are only looking at the online system, they will see the same prices - online A price and could see the competitor on MSM. I am not sure whether they can see the APG results themselves? The "complication" is the lower instore price paid but again that is down to their system (and must be on a different part of the system).
Just a thought.

Were you already up to £100 and this would have taken you £30 over? Shouldn't cap it unless you have hit a limit?
Anon
I seem to remember someone Bubbs? saying that their account had been capped when their apg value for the month was only around £60 in total.
Another person'*s account was capped and it looked like it might have been based on a month of 30/31 days rather than a calendar month iykwim.
We know the system isn't infallible, usually in our favour, maybe mistakes are also made in Asda's favour?

Swap 2 of the showers and see what the result is. If the fittings are the same it's easy if you can switch the power and water off to do the job.0

it does just feed from the cold supply. OMG I've learned loads about my own possessions tonight :rotfl::rotfl: my other 2 showers are mixers.
To be fair I'd not even go through a help desk. I'd just write a letter or an email quoting the relevant legislation/guidance. On headed notepaper0 -
Just got results of a hd shop today and an apg of 41.oo which has been claimed no problem, a lot bigger than usual so was half expecting a knock back after reading some posts here
May be worth noting that I did not have to wait the 24 hours to check
Sharwoods. Shades ok0
