Swap 2 of the showers and see what the result is. If the fittings are the same it's easy if you can switch the power and water off to do the job.
Not sure of law down south, but up here you can invalidate insurance because of DIY electrics. My motto is to get a local tradesman who is recommended by people you know.
I lived a long time in a village where everyone knew everyone else, tradesmen had to be honest as they were your neighbours/friends, unfortunately not the same in larger towns :(

it does just feed from the cold supply. OMG I've learned loads about my own possessions tonight :rotfl::rotfl: my other 2 showers are mixers.

To be fair I'd not even go through a help desk. I'd just write a letter or an email quoting the relevant legislation/guidance. On headed notepaper :p;)

Main thing is you have checked out the main problems. Some manufacturers will send out qualified tradesmen to check it, be warned they will state they will charge a call out if fault is not theirs, Also check with retailer who sold it to you. What you do not ask, you do not get.

We can also rule out cold feed temperature, as in wintertime cold water is much cooler and so electric heater showers can struggle to maintain temperature. But as it is spring now, it should be warmer than December and need thermostat turned down.

PS you did the right thing to ask other peoples opinions, stupidest question is the one never asked. Well done you :T.

And a good night from me. We just watched the last episode of Better Call Saul. A very good series.
    I like it too!
But Breaking bad had more action, in my opinion :)

    Pay £5 for 3
APG doesn't recognise A' own offer and thinks you paid £8.04
You get back £3.04 (to price match the competitor) plus an extra 50p (to better the competitor by 10%)
    £3.54 back on a £5 spend = £1.46 for 3 boxes (48.67p a box)
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
