    Afternoon all

A badge?? For a quote that is many, many years old - don't know where they dug that one up from?

I didn't know whether to laugh or tear my hair out at the lady who thought she was 'couponing' well using her Tesco vouchers. They certainly could have picked a better example.

Just had a HD with Bold, Udi's, Shades and some Princes red salmon which compares to £1.99 at Tesco (hopefully). Thanks to whoever found the Bold. I just got 2 to replenish my stash.

Wish I knew someone gluten intolerant that would like these near here. I've even hung around the gluten free section when I've got a stash in the car with no luck - can't give them away! Maybe I should freecycle them? Failing that it's Tesco food bank. I saw in passing that Tesco give another % on top of what they collect - anyone know if they actually do this & how much? Might be well worth hauling a few bags there if this is true. (Bit embarrassed at how many I have to be honest).

Well I didn't think the scaffolding saga was tedious - it's the sort of mad thing that happens to me on a daily basis
It's often said I should not be let out of the house without my carer but quite often it's not even safe for me to stay in the house :)
    :rotfl:

    Morning all.:)

Anyone who read my boring scaffolding saga last week to do with the next door neighbours solar panels - they're back!! Removing the scaffolding from the front and putting it up at the back. :D

Reason they were so insistent on continuing to put it up on Friday was they were half way through, and they knew if the called the boss they would be told to move it, which would then have taken twice as long.

This way they got paid for Friday (which wasn't their !!!! up, it was the solar company that booked them) then get paid for today moving it from front to back. :T

Not sure I'd want that solar company if it was me after them making such a big error.

As the APG only see's a maximum of 10 of each product, when you buy 11 or 12 of the same flavour it thinks you only bought 10 and therefore doesn't think you got the 12 for £6 offer.

For example, buy 12 of these.... (or 11 plus 1 different flavour)

    5dnkfr.jpg

APG sees 10 Hipp and thinks you spent £10 vs £6 (Tosco).

Should work for any flavour that is both 12 for £6 in A and 10 for £6 in T, check on mysupermarket first.

really useful for me too as I have a little one due in 4 weeks :D so I might start stocking up when I'm passing an Asda. My nearest is 20+ miles currently which is why I don't get to join in so much although I lurk a lot.

Does anyone know what sort of expiry the jars have though as I won't need them for another 6 or so months so don't want them to out date.

Apparently Asda are coming to town though if the planners say yes - a decision is due soon which is very exciting and I know you all will understand :T:T:T

Well I replaced the summer maxi with white jeans so I've worn both the summer staple wardrobe items incase this is the only summer we get - one day :)

Visitor wants shepherds pie so we went to Morribobs and found an assistant in a corner doing 2nd reductions on meat :j so we got several packs of posh sausages, bacon, pork chops and lean steak mince - and the freezer is nicely packed again
Ok, not dirt cheap but we have never got meat for 20p or enough to fill chest freezers, just very happy to get any good enough reductions at all :)

Sorry, I've got NO idea BUT I'm sure we'd all be interested in why it's been suspended. I do sometimes wonder if we should all try & do a shop every so often that doesn't produce another APG.

I must admit that before Christmas I had about £50 worth of Apg's online and after today's shop I should have around £38 back. I've done around 3 shops a month, keeping under £100 mark but I've paid between £5 to £30 in cash also per shop.

Depending on what transpires on your phone call I might rethink my strategy?

Buy 11 of one flavour and one of another
APG picks up only 10 and then compares
    I pay £6 for 12
    The dates are 7/16

Thus has been running for ages - be careful not all compare but most do :T

I think they work about about £1.24 for 12 x

Hi Jane as you can see Suzy says the dates on hers are July 16.It will be great for you to have an A's in town. hth
