    Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I know a lot of people on here order their groceries from Tesco online. Basically I ordered groceries on Tues to be delivered on Wed - it was meant to arrive between 1pm and 3pm on Wed but just after 1pm I got a phone call saying there had been a systems failure and my order had to be cancelled  They just told me I'd have to put it through again to get delivered another day which was highly inconvenient as I was left with no supplies at all and wasn't really well enough to go out. I put the order through again but couldn't get a delivery slot until Fri afternoon and couldn't use my code for extra points since my account was saying it had already been used on a previous "delivered" order! I managed to find a £12 off code to use instead though.

I've now finally got the groceries but they charged me the £6.25 delivery charge which I thought was a cheek! I phoned them up to complain and they've offered to refund the delivery charge but I think they should have offered a little extra so I was just wondering if this had happened to anyone else before and if they were offered any compensation? I wasn't looking for anything huge but a gesture of £5 or £10 off considering would have been fair.

    Regards

    Michelle

I had this happen to me in the past and when I phoned the customer services for groceries and explained the problem - they asked me for the code that I used and said that once I had taken delivery of the order I was to phone them back and they would manually adjust the code on my account so that the extra points would be added. When I telephoned them back upon receiving the delivery I again explained what had happened and I quoted the code used and the points were put onto my clubcard.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi all,

    I've got a Tesco's £4 off £40 voucher and a Sainsbury's £8 off £40 voucher to use instore.

Don't need to do 2 x £40 shops this week :D so, will Tesco's accept the Sainsbury's voucher?

(Oh, and I have to say I always spend my Clubcard vouchers instore as well :o )

Hi Yes you can use the sainsbury money off voucher. Tesco accept all Sainsbury and Safeway money off a total spend vouchers but not their money off coupons for specific products.

Yes you can use them both together on a £40 shop , I have done it many times in the past. So you will get £12 off a £40 shop.

    Hi,
Not sure if I'm posting in the right place but has anyone seen or used £5.00 off £50. spend on toys(in store)?
I picked some of these up today and was wondering if they could be used on anything or just toys.
    Thanks

  • quick question..i have 2 club cards in my name one at my address and one at my m.i.l address...

i picked up another one instore last night and put some points on it....

the thing is i am now going to try and get enough points to try and get a new car by this time next year.... when i phoned the car dealer up they said the deal vouchers must be all in the same name...

so could i get away with putting mr xxx instead of mrs xxx which will apear on the deals ?

    hope that makes sense..

know in my luck now that i have gone back to shopping in tescos ( except my meat and bread ) the points will really dry up ...lol....

andi wont even have enough for a toy car.....
