Have just spent ages trying loads of different codes, but nothing works! Is this the end of Tesco shopping as we know it? How depressing.
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

  • I don't understand the tesco club card (yeah I used to be blonde but thats another story) anyhow when they issue a voucher if i don't use it do i still keep the points on my card as i would like to bump up my points instead of just getting a couple of quid in vouchers.I've never got a voucher worth more than a fiver yet .

Welcome to the world of the Clubcard

I assume your talking about the vouchers you get every 3mths?

They are valid for 2yrs - which time you can convert them to deals or use them in store against a shop.

I suggest you just keep the vouchers and convert them when you have enough.

Read plenty on here and join PTS www.paidtoshop.co.uk and read even more and I am sure you will be earning alot more points

    Hope that helps

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Tesco Wine - XX-V15C - 1000 points on a £50 spend has just worked for me with 25% off even though I chose delivery on 28 Nov after the promotion which ends on 25 Nov.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
  • still no November Statement, shall I phone them up?
  • I order food online for four different addresses, with 5 Clubcards. Three have actual (registered clubcard) a/c's & the others are only virtual a/c's. All are registered for all the exclusive clubs & to receive ecoupons (however one actual account registered for in store vouchers).

When the Nov Statements arrived only the two registered accounts had ecoupons, the others were instore (not great as the ecoupons were twice the points of those instore, ). So I tried to use the ecoupons on the virtual a/c's & they were not accepted. However they were excepted in all of the actual a/c's (including the one that receives instore vouchers).

I'm still getting used to all the different codes etc for tesco online. I'm I right in thinking that if someone receives a voucher code on a virtual account then the code will generally work for any account & that if sent to an actual (registered ClubCard a/c with a plastic card) you can only use the code on actual a/c's? (unless the voucher is targetted of course)

Also is it normal to receive only instore vouchers on a virtual a/c even though you have requested ecoupons?

Oh I'm sorry, it's a lot of waffle, but I'm trying to explain myself &, trust me this is a condensed version! Thanks for your patience.

    Maid.
  • When you order online you will receive a voucher which you then send off with all the details of to who and where the magazine is to go, start date, etc. They will have no idea how you've paid for it.

I know this is from ages ago, on this advice I sent off for the voucher and the form just arrived as promised - thanks!

Just to ask though, presumably you don't get a nice card or something for the person to open on Xmas morning? Anyone got any ideas on how to do this in a nice way? Any help appreciated...
