Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
My first time on this thread but I have been following for a while now and actually had some Bootsing success!

Went to a smallish store in Coventry and all their baby electrical equipment was 75% off!!!!! All current range like Avent Breast Pumps which are normally £85!

I asked why they were all so cheap and they said they are not going to be stocking them anymore so selling them off. ;)

I was so pleased as we are expecting at the moment.
  • SA Eagle Eyes (or at least the one I saw yesterday - unfortunately, I doubt there is only one!) was on the electrical beauty counter at the back. I opted for that counter because it was lunchtime and I thought it would be a bit quieter, and therefore less embarrassing if I couldn't use the vouchers, but she read EVERY SINGLE WORD on the back of the two vouchers before telling me I couldn't use them!

She was quite young (early twenties, I'd say), with brunette shoulder-length hair tied back. Really annoyingly, I can't remember her name!

To be fair, she wasn't nasty or anything. I did my shopping in two lots and on the first lot she ended up manually adding a 75 pts on £10 spend ACM coupon for me when it wouldn't go through, but she was very on the ball so I wasn't getting any glitches past her.

I will follow the general advice and try a male SA this lunchtime - I'll let you know!;)

Hi Bristol Boots Babes!!Thanked you all personally but great to know there is so many of you on here .Will take a look in a couple today and report back later-thanks again!!

I didn't expect that we are so many here too. Glad to know that not only me who always carry coupons/vouchers around Boots.

I live in Clifton. So my local store is Queens Road. Pretty small one, but great service. If you want to return any item from .com, you can do there. Yesterday I went there and returned some of Time delay items I bought online (with 500 points). My reason to ask for refunding was the toner leaked on the transit and wet few items. So I didn't want them. I even called the CS before I went there. The store manager did the refund for me, without crossing on my original document from .com and didn't take out any point from my card too. She asked me whether I got points from buying on.com. I did say 'yes' and handed it to her. But didn't tell her how much I got.

Now I am going to use my skincare voucher and buy some more Time Delay products. So I can get the same items I want with paying less money.

If I have any chance to visit any Boots, will get back to your guys if I find any bargain.

Oh felicity and everyone else expecting (I am expecting my sisters already got 2 under 3 thanks :D) In the .com sale there are some new things added including a winnie the pooh moses basket for 17.50 reduced from 70.00!! Don't forget the 750 points off 55 coupon which I calculated as being the best deal in terms of money back if you're spending that amount but my maths is terrible :D:D

My goodness! I have just added up on my bank statement what i have actually spent in boots since the beginning of july  It is a fortune! and to be honest i'm quite shocked as I really had no idea it was that much... uh oh I maybe should calm it down a little bit. I'm on maternity leave and my pay drops a lot this month so i guess i'll be using my boots points more often  .
  • Hello again to all my fellow BBB's (Bristol Boots Babes and Blokes), I had a look on the Tesco threads and they use a clear plastic envelope for all their vouchers. I was gonna give it a go, but wondered if anyone else had a better suggestion. I just wish they were all the same size, be easy to carry them then! It's a pain when I've got my DS's in tow as well, not enough hands to carry basket, push puschair and go through my vouchers!
I might pop into Clifton Down Boots this afternoon, I've got an interview on Whiteladies. I worked in that one when I was younger.........oh the days of spending my wages before I'd left the shop (I was only 16 but even then I knew how to spot a good bargain and the staff discount was a big bonus!).
I'll let you know if there's anything good later.
BTW DH AC came this morning, so at least I can use it until I get my replacement under 60's one:mad:
  • Hi,

has anyone seen any memory cards or those chinese style wraps, which were a no 7 free gift earlier this year, on sale anywhere in london (preferably central on north west)?

i use a 6 x 4 flexible photo album as the pages inside are clear so i put all my vouchers in the folder by theme, baby, beauty etc... worked great on its first outing yesterday and i used loads more of my vouchers efficiently.

I'll find a pic i took and post it here but dont know how to add it in so you can see straight away rather than clicking a link??
