Hi everyone,

I had a good bootsing session today!

Went in to check the clearance section, which is not that good in my store, no memory cards left , there hasn't been any of these since the start of the sale, when I was lucky enough to get a Fuju 256MB for £6 and use 500 points voucher, so technically cost £1, came in very handy for my boots £40 camera!

Also wanted to get P&P with a moisturiser and use £7 off voucher to get GWP, but remembered reading a message somewhere about Time Delay doing a serum which has the same ingredients for £10.

I had a £5 skincare voucher so went for a nosy around the Time Delay section with a box of P&P to check the ingredients! :rotfl: Found out that it's the Wrinkle Reducing Night Serum (I'm only 21 but the P&P mini I got in an old GWP in clearance a few weeks ago is great and feels lovely on my skin!), apart from having 2 more ingredients, one being perfume it has exactly the same ingredients listed in the same order, so hastily put the box of P&P back and got the Time Delay one instead with £5 voucher, so cost £5 and got another voucher back. Not bad. The GWP is nice but I didn't really need moisturiser so thought I'd better not.

Found a heat protection mat/bag thingy for straighteners and tongs in the sale £2.50, No7 Firm your body sun lotion £1.25 and Firm your body tan maintainer £1.25, so bought these too, cost £5 so got another voucher!

Mum also bought some things, cost £5.66, got another voucher (she was kind enough to give this to me :T ).

So altogether we spent £15.66 between us and got 3 x £5 vouchers! :rotfl:

Did get a total spend voucher from acm 150 points on £20 spend, strangely Mum got 100 on £15 spend, (but I have more than twice the points she has, £80 worth so this confused me a bit) but didn't use this as I thought I might as well get vouchers.

Neither of us got a free haircolour voucher either, just 1/2 price. But all in all it was a good shop today.

I'm gonna try Eastgate Thurs as I can also feed my ever growing Tesco coupon addiction as well as Bootsing(anyone else get excited when they've got a handful of vouchers for extra points and money off etc?). I'm off work this week on hols and I'm trying to justify a way of getting into town(BM) once this week, at least another trip up the Mall, well I only live the next mw junction down so I'm always up there (fellow Bristol Bootsers you'll recognise me with the red P&T puschair and a screaming toddler in tow, usually lurking in the clearance or baby aisles!) and possibly a trip to Avonmeads too. Shame they can't build a Boots over at Abbeymead, then I could do that as well as the Mall!!Mind you after having my ac "confiscated" yesterday for being in the over 60's club I'm gonna have to borrow my mums or hope DH comes through the post soon. :beer:

I have successfully used ACM vouchers from large stores in stores which don't have them. Try the "oh I wanted to buy it but they'd ran out, could you see if it will work with you?" Well chuffed with the Vicks first defence I picked up at Cribbs yesterday for 80p - 10% over 60's (use by date 07/08!). Saw it in Lloyds today for £6.99 bargain!:T

Can anyone tell me please, if they have seen the Thierry Mugler perfume "Alien" in-store? It is on .com, but I wanted to pay with points and Leeds Bond Street Assistant said Boots don't stock it...try House of Fraser!!!
(would do if they'd accept Advantage Card Points from Boots!)

You'll recognise me as i've ususally got my 4yearold DD with me who insists on wearing fancy dress :rolleyes:
Last week she was a fairy,vet and chinese girl. Kind of annoying when your trying to blend into the background while doing several Tesco H&B shops.
She starts school this September :j ok im a little sad but the fact they are opening a new big Boots in Longwell Green (near Asda) in September too is taking the edge off it

I love the fact I can justify a Bootsing by going to Asda, Tesco, into town etc for essentials and just popped in for a pack of baby wipes!! Ooh might have to take a trip over LG in sept, I like the asda over there, and if I go via ring road I can pop into the mall on way home!

I remembered reading a message somewhere on here, sorry I can't remember where, which mentioned that someone else had said they were the same ingredients, so I checked them today when I was in Boots and they were exactly the same but the Time Delay includes 2 more ingredients, one was 'Parfum' which I assumed was perfume? and another one about halfway down the list which I can't remember now! If you want I'll get the box of the Time Delay and write the ingredients in a PM? or on here if anyone else is interested? Then if anyone has a full size P&P with a box listing ingredients then maybe they will list the ingredients of that too? I would but mine was a sample from GWP and doesn't have them listed anywhere.
