Hi, my mum went to Boots this morning and was told that the red sticker price is now the right price its not half price again, when she pointed out that they still had signs up saying half stickered price they started to take them down. Anyone else been told that its changed. She's phoning CS to find out whats going on and I'll update when she lets me know.
I was under the impression that is should definitely be half the red sticker price. Some stores such as Braehead I have got have the red sticker price as well as half the normal barcode price which was a really pleasant surprise :T . However in the Edinburgh store near Haymarket it is only half the red sticker price and not half the barcoded price. Hope that makes sense.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)

hoping somebody can help/advise me.
I made a boots.com order on the 6th august and then one on the 8th.
a parcel came today and i just presumed that it was the 1st one but it was the 2nd so i checked on my account online and it says that the order from 6th was delivered on the 9th! My boots orders are always delivered by the home delivery network but the missing one was with amtrak so thats strange.
Thanks and sorry for being so soft(
If you log in to Boots.com and choose My Orders you should be able to seeing tracking information for the Amtrak delivery. I hope you have not suffered from Amtrak in the same way I have. They didn't check to see if I was in, they just left the parcel at the back of the building and it was gone by the time I found out it had been left. If this has happened to you Customer Services will send out a declaration form to you.0 -

I agree-last week i was working from home and noticed a man rushing away from my front window- i got up to look and it was my boots parcel just left by my front door wihtout any card or knock.I'm not home usually so i was lucky to find my parcel otherwise somebody could have taken it easily(it was full of gift sets).Customer service were lovely though as the parcel was faulty they refunded me with points and sent replacements for other items.
Btw -woolworths customer support department was no help when i aclled this morning so have written to head office by recorded delivery. If they don't help then will seek legal advice.Love can tame the wildest0 -

yep, they have said they will send out a form and investigate it. amtrak left it on the doorstep it says on tracking. the dooorstep!!!! i dont have a porch and i think it is ridiculous - i must admit i do live in a cul de sac so maybe the driver thought it would be safe but still...
did you find that they sorted it out easily enough once they had your form back? or did it take them a while to replace/refund you?0 -

i phoned CS the day i bought the parcel i was asking about and the told me to just take it back to store, no mention of points or anythingI didint dare ask as i hav previously had points added due to a previous .com order mix up but i do feel put out that i bought two things and one has out of date items incl in it and the other is faulty and is burning - however i dont think i dare ask for points/push it instore...
..If i ring CS again do you think it will be worth it? i didnt give any details the first time.0 -

Just to let you know that they still have some bargains left in Sheffield High Street. Been in today very briefly and managed to get -
Cricket DVD and book set, was originally £15, got red sticker saying £10, now £5
Evening primrose mini wash bag was originally £5, red sticker said £3, got it for £1.50
White Collection soap in a dish, was originally £5, red sticker said £3, got it for £1.50
1 huge shelf of reduced items, all red stickered, with a ready reckoner on front of the shelf saying all half price, and showing you what the prices should be. There was lots of Remington hair curling tongs thingys in a baby pink rucksack, were red stickered at £20 so would be £10, Philips Shavers red stickered as £40 so would be £20, hairdryers red stickered at £30 so would be £15, lots of Betty Boop toothbrushes and make up bags, all stickered as £5 so would be £2.50. I didn't have a lot of time to look but worth it if you are looking for a few Xmas pressies.
Only thing I was p**d off about was I printed an "50 extra points if you spend £7.50" coupon off from the machine downstairs, but by the time I'd got upstairs I couldn't find it in my bag!!! grrrrr!!You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
