Hi, I'm looking for info on the reduced cameras, I found the above cameras on the old thread, are they reduced more than £40 now, are there any more reduced? Any info appreciated.
  • Had my 2nd Boots.com delivery today and I bought some packet baby food for DS2. anyways, opened the box to find that out of the six packets 4 were out of date ( 2 were May 07 and 2 were 17/07/07!!!) and the other 2 were 21/8/07! I phoned CS and politely told them and the guy on the phone passed me to his TL. She was slightly alarmed to say the least and gave me 2000 points plus a refund. I also enquired as to why i hadn't rec my 500 parenting points for spending over £50 on baby, which again I was credited!!
Not bad for 1 quick phone call?

I went to Boots today and bought some half price swimwear. Tempted by the glasses but I need my points to replace contents of lost suitcase which was packed to the gills with Clinique and other Boots purchases plus my recently acquired stella perfume. No other good sale stuff. I wish I could teleport back to the Falkirk Boots for a good shop.

Had 5 mins to pop into my not so nearby Boots before it closed and just as well I did. I got:

3 x Boots 128MB memory cards paid £4.50 using my gift card and got £15 back in points. Just as well I had 3 x 500 points vouchers printed from AC machine.

Shame I didn't have time to check whether my AC would have printed more vouchers.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)

Dont forget the 500 points on electrical goods coupon at the back of this month's magazine. it went through on my shaver even tho it only cost £10 in the half price sale. :T

I didn't see a 500points on electrical goods voucher at the back of the boots mag. Do you mean the 500points mailing voucher?

If you're buying suncream in the reduced sections then you might get an even better bargain.

In the Darlington branch this afternoon I got Soltan Pocket Sport Spray & Pocket Sun Lotion (both in dark blue packaging), they were reduced to 50p each but then went through as Link Save so BOGOF! :j

I went back to get some more and there were plenty left on the shelves.

Depends on how you look at it. Sun tan lotion has a shelf life of 2 years max - less once it's been opened and exposed to the 'environment'... You might think you are buying bargin factor 30, but can you guarentee it's even SPF 8? No....

Boots should be ashamed of trying to shift old sun tan lotion stock. Anyone would think they wanted people to get skin cancer...

    1) the small one down by marble arch next to clarks. I got 2x2 camera batteries for 50p for 2.

Ohh! I like that one! Largely because we had our RAG ball (2007!) at the Thistle Marble Arch, and even before I got that far, my shoes had removed half of my toes! I got hte best padded palsters in the whole wide world there... mucheos relief! Well - I think the copious amounts of alcohol might have done more, but I have no decent scientific controls :p:p:p...

Anyone? I think I've found some cameras in stock near my mum, but I don't want to be a pain and get the staff to open the cabinet and scan them if they aren't reduced.

I would go & get them to try scanning them, worth it to see what they scan at.
