would i be able to use my handset on BT (ie do i need to unlock it somehow) and would it be able to receive a 4g signal (i am guessing they are utilising the EE infrastructure) ?
thanks for any help
The iphone 5 only works (in the UK) on EE's implementation of 4G. So if BT Mobile uses the EE network (which is almost certain) then you should be able to get 4G from them.0 -

Interested in sim only deals for September when my EE contract runs out. I think it might be a good shout to try BT, and particularly with this BT Sports app thing, do you get all of BT Sports? If so, that could really sway me towards them. Particularly as its on EE network anyway, and they will eventually buy out EE.
edit: had a quick look. Liking the look of the £25 per month deal with BT. 20GB(!) of 4g data, and unlimited everything. I can quite easily use 2GB of data (the lower plan) and 20GB I'd never have to worry about going over at all, which I currently sometimes do on my EE @ 1.5GB data.0 -
I've got Plusnet b/band so does anyone please know whether I can get the £5 deal ? especially as BT own Plusnet.
Thanks.0 -
I would suspect not, as they are separate trading entities. The clue will be that you probably don't get free BT Sport at the moment with Plusnet, whereas BT broadband customers do.0

They are because they are offering it now as opposed to the likes of Voda and 02 who will no doubt charge to the last minute.0
