BT Mobile
Just seen that BT have launched there Mobile service.
The prices seem good if you have BT broadband as you get a £5 discount.
It looks as if its only sim only deals at the moment. And the coverage is EE i think.
I might consider switching to them when my current deal ends in July.#

Suppose they will increase the handsets you can buy and eventually do the full mobile contracts.
But it will probably be once they have completed the buy out of EE0 -
I wonder if they will be reintroducing the Philips Diga* phone back in there range
that phone almost closed BT down
*this is the old prepay phone that had been "hacked" , everytime you used it , it reset the credit to £100 -

I think the £5 plan will be popular.0 -
I've just spotted this on the BBC news site. Not being a BT broadband customer, I don't get the £5 discount but notice at the top of the packages it has 'Free BT Sport App'. Does this mean for £10 a month you get a mobile connection + access to BT Sport? That seems a pretty good deal so I assume I'm missing something.0

Yes the price includes access to BT Sport via the app in your smartphone - if you had a means of projecting to your TV via chromecast or airplay then even better0 -
Chromecast works with the bt sport app

i have an iphone 5 which is on the o2 network at present. i get 3g data on o2 (and am apparently unable to get 4g on o2) but have read that EE customers are able to get 4g on the iphone 5.
would i be able to use my handset on BT (ie do i need to unlock it somehow) and would it be able to receive a 4g signal (i am guessing they are utilising the EE infrastructure) ?
thanks for any help0 -
Inclusive Voicemail plus 0800 freephone inclusive, which could prove handy for cheaper calls.0
