Defaulted accounts legally have to be removed 6 years from the default date.

Accounts not defaulted legally have to be removed 6 years from the date paid off

Not stuck for life, but legal action may be required at a later date.

    See what the FOS say.

    Good luck

But there is no default date as the account is being marked as ok???

But there was the 1/9/08 , when they got 1/9/14 it went but on a new date 24/9/14 after a complant was removed but re appeared 24/1/15 and Sevareid months the 24th till March when it says payments okay up to date with a header special arrangement so I want the account removed as per what most people on here says should happen but it worries me as some like you seem to back them as a balance is owed it should be reported

No im not backing them, if it was defaulted in September 08 it should be removed and the date shouldn't be changed, I read your posts though as you complained to get the default removed and they did that, If that's not the case you should be arguing to get the date changed on the default to the original date rather than getting it removed.

Up date to day received a letter from noodle who raised a dispute over the account saying no change to made as ico guidelines state that an arrangement can be recorded on your credit file, still on the understanding that once an account was defaulted after six years it was removed all together ,still waiting for a reply from fos

What I am not sure about here is the actual 'default date', as opposed to the date the file was last updated. Sainsbury can update the record every day if they ant to, provided the information is accurate and that the default date does not change.

Do you have an arrangement to pay
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I am paying so you can say yes but my complant was the account was defaulted for 6 years so it should have gone never to return as rules are, the account should not now be reported like this
