No mbna for an arrangement to pay went to the ico but Sainsbury removed it when I told them but it goes seems to be reregister at the end of month ico said if they removed it when it was highlighted to them they follow the correct way, it just makes me made that I have to complain at the start of the month to get it off for that month then they put it back on again,Sainsbury was defaulted in sept 2008 my last defaulted account to go the only one with a balance left to pay though did have another that went in March paided in sept 14 that went just like the paided up ones0 -
Try the FOS then, you ought to also get some compensation for the grief...:beer:0

I guess that's what I have to do I do not have much faith in fos they just seem to back up the banks0

Won a few with the FOS, lost a few.
Depends which adjudicator you get.
Although, if the ICO have told them to do something and they don't, that's pretty clear cut.
Hopefully get a few hundred quid for your inconvenience and time.

They took it it off before the ico looked at so they said they followed the correct policy but then on the 30 th of month it reappears ,
If I go to fos and it s rejected I am stuck with it for life as there decision is final and can never be overturned, I have read on here 100 s of times that defaulted accounts are removed 6 years but what is said on here and rules laid down differ to what fos do0 -
I did not put it with the old thread as the account is now being readied no default everything reading okay on it but it should not be there 6 years after default registered0
-
Defaulted accounts legally have to be removed 6 years from the default date.
Accounts not defaulted legally have to be removed 6 years from the date paid off
Not stuck for life, but legal action may be required at a later date.
See what the FOS say.
Good luck
