Cineworld charge a 50p booking fee per ticket if you book online. No charge if you do it in person at the cinema BUT the tickets are cheaper online if you register and log in. Assuming you're going to Glasgow Renfrew Street in the evening your two tickets using Meerkat Movies will end up costing you £9.64 (including booking fees) if booked online, or £9.60 if you buy in the cinema. So you can either save 4p by queing up and getting your tickets in the cinema (woo!) or save loads of time, hassle and uncertainty by buying online, choosing your seat and walking straight into the screen with an e-ticket on your phone. No brainer if you ask me.

Looks like the loophole for cineworld unlimited card customers has been closed
(effectively using the unlimited card as the second ticket. It now states that due to it being a 2-1 voucher you have to select your second ticket and doesn't allow the unlimited card to be used)


edit - looking at Twitter problem seem sot haver been present since early June and still not fixed on their new website. Workaround is to use their old website.

Success with no problems. Bought 1 day UK travel insurance on Friday from the first one on the list (£2.05) and phone app gave me my first code today (Monday). Hubby did same so we can go as 4 for 2 What a great deal! Plus we have the added bonus of actually being insured when we go on a trip this week.

I've just gone to use the Meerkat code on the Cineworld site and its added '1 x Meerkat Movies voucher: £2.70' to the cost. I thought the voucher was free?

Apologies if I've missed something obvious - I did look but couldn't see anything that mentions a charge.

What you got to lose ?

Buy a policy for a few days holiday in the UK, costs a few quid, it it don't work then you haven't lost much.

I can see this question has been asked already many times over. I have just purchased travel insurance to cover 1 day, it cost me £2.07 but it is a good deal as I can now use the meerkat movies deal. However I have to wait 48hours for there system to update and I really wanted to take the kids to the cinema today. If anybody would be kind enough to pm me with there code( only if they are not using it) I could return the favor sometime.
