Halfords Stirling damaged my car during an MOT

Seen this elsewhere and, along with the many qualified testers on that other site, got to agree that the rear disks were clearly pass & advise, not a fail.
Sadly, what the Op should/i] have done is arrange an appeal test through DVSA rather than just going to another test centre. That's the only way that chancers get weeded out of the system.0 -
I don't think your issuers are limited to your branch. About 2 years ago our last car Halfords failed the mot on tyres, pads and discs. A month later we took car to a different branch for a service who told us the tyres were close to the limit, and in need of brake pads and discs. We'd doge about 450 miles between mot and service.
Never been back to Halfords since, and always used a local indie since who has done the jobs instructed and never recommended additional work on either of our cars, and has built my trust as we have a 12 yr old car, and a15 year old car so wouldn't surprise us if an odd additional job was needed.0
