I saw their advert on google aswell and tried to buy a Henry Hoover, it said the same - that card payment was down and to transfer money to an account, thankfully I got suspicious when they would not answer or reply so I phoned the bank and cancelled the both cards I had tried to use. It's shocking they were the first company to come up on my google search for a Henry Hoover. I hope they get caught and people get refunded.0

They appear to take money from bank cash cards but not credit cards.
Warning, the email states that they do not keep a record of your payment details... don't believe them. Stop your card and order a new one to be on the safe side, whoever these scums are they will either use or sell on your card details, you will be lulled into a false sense of security then your card will be used by them or some ***** person0 -
Hi everyone,
I was looking for a mixer and I saw a cheap one on clevedons.co.uk advertised on Google. I was a bit sceptical at first because I never heard of the website before so I did a quick search to find reviews but there was non. I then went on scam detection websites but again found nothing against clevedons. I decided to give a go with my credit card and like everyone else I recieved an email to do a bank transfer due a fault with the system. My suspicions were confirmed because sending money or giving your account details gives the consumer no protection. However I was confused because the website has been running from four years and there has been no complaints untill now. The website is now unavailable but they might come back with a different website. I think you should all go to your banks to complain to the fraud dep and go to Barclays to inform them of their fraudulent customer. The more complaints the police gets the more emphasis the case would get.
I hope you guyz get your money back.
Good luck👍0 -
Hi folks
Unfortunately I am another victim of these thieving charlatans!!
I ordered a juicer from this website a few days ago after finding them via Google shops £10 cheaper than elsewhere! I too trusted that they were a genuine company due to google sponsorship! It took me a few days to see the email requesting payment by bank transfer which I complied with as I genuinely thought that was why my item had not been delivered! I then sent them an email to advise that I had arranged payment and looked forward to receiving my purchase ASAP. I received an automated reply from a Mary clevedon advising of technical issues with the website and that orders were being processed manually so not to be alarmed by the delay! Then I stumbled on this thread and realised I had been conned :-( luckily it's only £39.99 as I can see some of you have been scammed out of a lot more but having now purchased the item again from a well known retailer it will have cost me 75 quid for an item worth half that price!!! I feel absolutely furious with myself as I should have known that a bank transfer request was dodgy! I sent them another email to see what happened and it bounced back with "delivery failed permanently". I hold no hope of getting my money back but I have reported it to action fraud so hopefully if anything good comes out of this its that no one else falls into the trap!! Although hopefully that won't happen as the website has disappeared!!!0 -
Report these people to Action Fraud 0300 1232040. They told me that the more reports received the more likely action will be taken. I have just done this and it took just 5 mins, they gave me a crime number and made me feel a lot better!!0

I was about to buy a coffee machine from this website after it came up on a google shopping search. Supposedly a sale to make way for new stock and the price was lower than anywhere else. The website said all the right things but something didn't feel quite right:
I couldn't find the company in a google search, only through the one shopping link.
I couldn't see any reviews for the company.
The website's appearance seemed too simple, a bit amateurish though the content was right.
I even googled and street viewed the address which didn't reassure me! I also remembered the saying "if something's too good to be true then it probably isnt"
It looks like I had a very lucky escape but I was almost taken in.0 -
Hi,
Anyone has received an answer from Action Fraud or the Police on what they are really doing to catch the criminal that scammed all us stealing our money?
I just received from Action Fraud a kind of pre-written response letter saying "all and nothing", but not really a human interaction. Tried to contact the web hosting provider used to build-up website and email contacts, but also from them no real help at all.
What about you, any luck or good news on this matter?0 -
Hi - i received the automated response after lodging my case with Action Fraud. About two weeks after i received further notification from Action Fraud informing me that The National Fraud Intelligence Bureau had sufficient viable lines of enquiry for a possible police investigation. Furthermore my report had been sent to Nottinghamshire Police, although again I don't hold out much hope!!1
