Hello: Sorry if this is not the correct place to post.
Just Advice last week a web site Clevedons.co.uk starting promotioned offers high clearence of items.
This page is also advertised in google till yesterday.
When you go to the check out, the system say: there is a problem to process your order by credit card and they offer pay by Bank Transfer or Deposit.
There is answer phone all times, and no get answer in your e-mails.
Me and another people has been reported to ActFraud and Google, also to Barclays where they request deposit the money... but they are too slow to take action or invesitgate to put this Web site down.
New Reviews in Trustpilot starting appear today.
Be careful

does any one know how i would go about even trying to get some money back from them?
Small claims???
The domain name is reg to 33 Clevedon Rd BS20 6TF
I feel so foolish & stupid!0 -
Maybe they've gone belly-up, they started selling electronics in 2012
Phone number was listed as 0117-230-1884 if that helps0 -
And me too...
Ordered a roombot cleaner for my 86 year old mum last week and although it took me until yesterday to become suspicious it is only today that I realised I have been a fool.
Is there anything I can do ...what about Barclays bank - they received my money?0 -
Exactly the same thing happened to me, I found the link via Google shops, entered my credit card details then got an email telling me I needed to complete my order with a bank transfer. I didn't think anything of it until today my order hadn't arrived and I emailed the company asking for tracking details, my email bounced back and I saw the website had been deleted.
Everyone report them! We just called the police who transfered us through to action fraud who took a statement, they've said if more than one person reports the same company then it gets linked together and stands more of a chance of going forward.
Not quite sure how to go about getting any money back though as the bank have said they can't help...0 -
Same here, two Henry vacs ordered and nothing to show for it. Strangely though my card payment went through with no mention of a bank transfer?? Action Fraud it is then!!! STOP PRESS, it must be my lucky day, the payment wasn't processed, phew, but sorry to the guys that lost out....0

I ordered a vax cleaner last week and paid online, now emails are bounced and I cannot contact anyone.
I am certain I ordered from this website some time ago without any problems, but this time it looks like i have been had.
reported it to the police who directed me to action fraud, i just hope i can get my money back. everyone should report this.0 -
Easy solution. If it's more than 15 days since placing the order then file a chargeback claim with your card provider for non-delivery of goods. (There's a recognised chargeback code for this, so claims should go through OK. You might need to get past the 1st line customer services though to be able to get them to understand that chargeback is a valid process).
Sorry - didn't notice payments were by bank transfer.
In my book, that is ALWAYS a scam if someone won't/can't take payment by any other means. "Credit card processing system is down" is a very common ruse.0 -
Hi all
I got caught as well,Bosch Mixer £86,Like a fool paid by bank transfer as "card payment system down" Live and learn, reported to action fraud.
If anyone else paid by bank transfer its very unlikely you will see your cash back,I did know better but didn't listen to myself, bank transfer requests always dodgy.
Hey Hoe,I suppose its not the end of the world, just very very annoying :mad:0 -
Looks like I dodged a bullet as I tried to order a kettle from them yesterday and after entering card details, I got a message "Cannot connect to bank".
Sent them an email and got a reply to the effect that the website is having maintenance affecting the payment process. It advised that emails are being sent to advise alternative payment methods.
I didn't get any further messages and when you try the website now, you see a blank page with "sorry..." on it.
Thankfully there has been no charge on my card from what the bank is telling me.
