check the popla statement on these appeals

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5254864

they are on hold pending the next Beavis appeal to the Supreme Court in 5 weeks time, judgment should be before the end of 2015

so dont hold your breath, not unless they decide to go through the appeals and see if they can adjudicate on any of the other appeal points

parking prankster also blogged about it too, so methinks you have not kept up with events

It is very important, if you want to be able to deal with this effectively, that you keep abreast of all developments in the evolving world of private parking.

If you just keep popping back asking for advice every time something new jumps out at you, you are at a distinct disadvantage!

Most of the regulars here have been through the hassle of this - either directly or indirectly - and without keeping pace (and in order to give advice, stay much more than one step ahead of the game) we wouldn't be here now to help.

You must keep pace with what's happening!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

My bad. Apologies for having a life and being busy 'n'stuff. Paying the mortgage, being on holiday and things like that tend to take precedence over this garbage to be honest.

I received the PE stuff through the post a few weeks back, but was unable to rebutt any of their "evidence" on the online POPLA system. The system wasn't accepting the POPLA code. I only got round to contacting them on Monday to see if they had heard the case. Their email arrived today saying that it hadn't been heard. They said to submit any further info via email so I've submitted a document rebutting PE's submission. I argued the there was no GPEOL, no evidence to show that the driver was parked, no evidence to show that there was not a multiple visit and they only detected the first entry and last exit and finally, used the Pranksters point about the witness statement (as opposed to PE actually showing the adjudicator the contract). Hopefully that will do the trick.

Wow! And you don't think that regulars here 'have a life and being busy 'n' stuff'?

And we help dozens of cases a day, every day, as well as 'having to pay mortgages, being on holiday and things like that, that tend to take precedence over this garbage to be honest' - if only we were handling the one you are dealing with.

What are you expecting 'for free'? Have you considered a solicitor at £500 per hour?

Chill out a bit fella...I'm not expecting anything for free. You're only contribution to date on this thread has been your post this evening, so you have handled anything to do with this.

I'm grateful to all contributors. Umkomass- you haven't bothered to ask any circumstances about my circumstances, so you have no idea of how much or how little time I have to dedicate to this. Hang fire before you jump on the outrage bus the next time.....

I'm most certainly going to 'chill out'. Good luck.

same here, yet I also try to give back, plus I donated to the Barry Beavis crowdfund too, even though I have no popla cases ongoing (or any others either)

sorry to say, if we all took the same attitude as you seem to be doing, nobody would get any help on here , so when you have helped as many people as I have and umkomaas has, you get the right to answer back, until you put back into the pot then you have no right at all

if it wasnt for Barry Beavis fighting this case and people like myself crowdfunding his appeal, your popla case would have been LOST at this moment in time !

therefore you would be facing debt letters for £100 , and possibly a court case too

it would have been quicker to look at the barry beavis blogs, the posts about him on here, the POPLA statement too

yet you seem to think popla are taking the wee wee

unfortunately, you should look into the mirror, as frankly that is what you are now doing

so thats 2 people who wont be answering you any longer, perhaps if enough people ignore you it may make you think of apologising and actually giving back, but I somehow doubt it as you seem totally selfish and self-centred

The regulars recognise other regulars and if you p*** off one, then you see a real life Dragons' Den when a bad presentation is made - you get lots of "I'm out".

Implying that you are too busy to help your own appeal and getting shirty with anyone trying to give good advice - particularly with someone with such a good thank you count - isn't the smartest thing to do.
