PCN - No response to parking appeal

Hi I appealed my PCN 15 days ago by E-mail and I read in the BPA code of practice that the company must respond within 14 days to my appeal and I have not received any response so does this mean the PCN is voided?

No it probably means you did not send it by post and have a certificate of postage to prove it was posted.
So they will ignore you until the time window runs out.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
the ppc has 14 days to acknowledge and 35 days to respond, but those are only guidelines and do not void the pcn
most ppc,s do not send the acknowledgement
I suspect you misinterpreted the BPA CoP
very few companies allow an appeal by email ; its usually online on their website or by snail mail0 -
Oh okay so in theory they could take 6 months to respond but this would have no effect on the PCN? or do they have a time limit?0

6 years under small claims procedures (an MCOL)
its an invoice, so nothing voids it apart from a landowner cancellation or a PPC cancellation (or POPLA or IAS cancellations if it went to appeal)0 -
Hey so I didn't get any response to my e-mail until today saying that I am charged £75 as I did not appeal or pay my fine I was wondering what the next stage is?0
-
ok , save us 20 questions , who was the ticket from , was it on your car or via ANPR?0
-
It was from Corporate Services and the ticket was on my car0
-
second time , this time full name and address of company , corporate services does not seem to be a listed company with either regulatory bodies
or do you mean this lot? http://www.corporate-group.co.uk/0 -
Hey Mango1990 - so next stage is - respond to the parking company with a copy of your emailed appeal saying you have appealed and demanding they either cancel the charge or reject your appeal and (if they are a BPA member) provide a POPLA code. Send by post this time from a post office and ask for a certificate of posting (these are free btw).
Also send a complaint to the BPA - contact details in #6 of NEWBIES sticky thread - that the parking company have not responded to your appeal.0 -
Yep that is the company they are called Corporate Services (Parking Management) on my letter0
