Raining here so one load of washing draped round upstairs. Veggies prepared but I'm going to cook at teatime today because DD and I are going to see Harry Potter. Hope my back won't protest too much at sitting still for over 2 hours.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry I didn't check in last night, but the gym really took it out of me, and I had an early night as there wasn't much on TV. As you can see, not much more has been crossed off, and I realised last night that I forgot to get hayfever tablets, so I'm back to the shops this morning, and we are goin to have breakfast out as I'm way under budget with the shopping at the mo.
    1. Clean bathroom Loo now done, but still need to do the sink + windowsill.
    2. Dust bedroom Still to do.
    3. Use re-borrowed and newly bagged Kirby around the whole flat when cat is out, as it will scare him Cat in at mo.
    4. [strike]Dust computer and desk[/strike]
    5. [strike]27 fling boogie[/strike]
    6. [strike]Meal plan for next week[/strike] Did 2 weeks. :j
    7. [strike]Food shop [/strike]
    8. [strike]Hang out washing that is in the WM[/strike]
    9. [strike]Go to petshop for cat litter and cat food[/strike]

Bright windy day here, windows open blowing the cobwebs away here, although I have not long crawled out of bed!

Jill you have no reason to feel like a selfish old boot so stop right now ok! He was being an *rse and you needed to have a rant.

As for the shopping our asda's has expectant mum parking slots only prob is whilst they are right next to the store they are about the furtherest ones from the door :rotfl:

I would certainly try at least one online order before the baby comes, that way when you are too tired from lack of sleep/visitors to get out you should be able to put an order together for delivery without that 'first time order' hassle. If you do decide to give it a go you can 'load' in a receipt from a previous shop and the items you bought then will appear on a kind of favourites list ;)

Hope your day is better than yesterday.

Hello all. Forgot to say yesterday thanks for all the hellos and welcome backs! To anybody ranting - hugs! I've ranted plently here about 'DH' so please rant away, you'll feel so much better. Hugs to Lil_me - hope you got some sleep, JillD - men! Do you think its anything to do with the birth coming up soon, my DH went a bit werid then, AnW'sMum - wave!

Not much planned for today, DS is napping so we are off out to get dog food, B&Q when hes up. Don't think it'l be long as the neighbours kid is having the mother of all trantums - 19 days and counting till moving. DH made me tea and toast in bed this morning which was lovley. Hospital visiting this afternoon so in laws are having DS so DH can come as don't want LO to catch anything from that flithly place. Dads having his wound checked for first time today after the op, depending on the swab results he may be home tomorrow. Hope so as want to get him away from risk of further infections.

Just set myself the half hour challenge (thanks for the idea Solwaykid) managed to
Finish loading DW and set going
    Cleaned downstairs loo and sink
    S&S kitchen
    Washed fruit bowl out
    Polished kitchen cupboards
Flicked duster through lounge and dining room
Cleared hall of shoes and empited and wiped table
Chucked all bath mats in washer

Not bad! Just need to hoover later and sort our something for tea, lunch is pitta breads, cheese and beans and veggie shepherds pie for DS.

Right will nag Dh to put paddling pool away as it looks like rain here. See you all later.

    Morning everyone

Hugs to everypne who needs it, and my sentiments are with you all about the menfolk. I've got one like it too.

Definitely a bit cooler here today and a mixture of sunshine and clouds. So far have only sorted the washing and got first load in. Need to check contents of freezer as havent been updating my list and then do a meal plan for this week before I shop. Dont want a massive one as only here til friday and then away for 12 days to the hopefully hot and sunny costa del sol with my family (we havent all been away together for 30 years so gonna be fun !)
Also need to compile a list of what I need to do for hols, including sorting suitcases and packing. Oh and also need to sort out what kids ned to go back to school with and get.

    Busy week methinks

    See you all later

Morning everyone, well I didn't have to get up, think I'd sorted everything he needed so that was much nicer. He's off somewhere near Leeds I think and won't be back until late.

I've vacuumed and mopped the sitting room, part of the kitchen but I need to move his stuff before I can do the rest. Kitchen getting good sort through today with cooker arriving tomorrow, I store some tins etc in the cooker so need to find them a home for now. With previous 'delivery' issues of items I am a little 'cautious' about moving the cooker early, I think I will leave it for DP to do when he gets in actually then I can still use it tonight. Could do with cleaning under it, not been done for a while so I know it'll be icky under there.

I've only got one load of laundry to do, actually it might not even be enough for a full load (haven't brought it down yet), it rained overnight and is threatening to again now so pleased about that. I put 6 loads away last night and did sock sorting so was quite pleased with myself.

Right coffee before I do anything else, tea? coffee?
One day I might be more organised...........
