I really cannot remember. I remember about 2007 winning a bag of dog food and a dog coat, that was probably what triggered my interest in comping, but I reckon there was probably random little wins before then, like raffle prizes and such.I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!0

my first win I remember was a competition to win a letter stamping kit and I was 8 years old, my second win was a colouring comp I won 2nd prize of £30 for boots when I was 9, it was mega money then. first prize was a holiday:(. always had the bug for comping and over the years won a few prizes, mainly tickets to events.
I started full on comping last year due to home circumstances. my biggest win was a cruise last year.
but for me I just love the chance to win and the community of comping has opened up a whole new friend circle and of course winning anything is nice.0 -
My first ever win was nearly sixty years ago. I was home ill from school and there was a competition to see how many words you could make from a particular phrase. I have forgotten what it was but I was bored stiff and made hundreds. I won a pair of roller skates but as I was ill my mum managed to swap them for a game of monopoly from our local toy shop. I got into comping seriously a few months ago after I won £25.00 love to shop vouchers in a crossword competition.0

I'm not sure of the year, but it was the early 90s. Someone left behind a Take a Break in our caravan, so I did the puzzles, put my mum's name on it (because I was under 18 at the time) and she won £50! I've been comping as much as I can ever since.
Good luck, all! :beer:Love all, trust a few. Do wrong to none.

I started originally back in about 1982 when comping was a physical activity! You had to buy the actual magazines, or troop round the supermarket looking for the entry forms. I won some Aqua Manda perfume (I smelled like an orange), then a CD player - they were the latest thing! But my most memorable prize from that period was a pair of tickets to a Michael Jackson concert. It cost me a fortune in train fares and B&B to send my step daughter and her friend.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards.
