I love reading about peoples wins, whether they are small or big wins! It gives me some sort of buzz knowing that one day I might win, or not. Who knows! :rotfl:I've yet to win anything after 1 month of comping... I can't wait until the day I finally WIN, whether it's soon or in months-years to come! Just to know all that effort and time entering would of been worth it
So a question so all you compers, that's more than likely been asked a few times...
What was your first win and how long had you been comping before you actually won something?
:D:D

I was very lucky, it was a 16 night three centre holiday to Thailand - Bangkok, Phuket and Chang Mai. I had been comping for about six months, but only about five a week. This was way back in the mid 1990s though, there was nothing like MSE back thenChameleon, Comedian, Corinthian and Caricature0

Apart from a few small raffle prizes at the village show, my first win was unbelievably a car! It was from Take a Break magazine - I wasnt even a comper at the time but a friend came to stay and brought the magazine with her so I did the puzzles and entered as a total one-off. Have comped on and off ever since but, despite some good prizes, Ive never topped that first one!0

A Bluetooth mini-speaker that I won via a Twitter comp at the end of January, about a month after I started.
I use it to play music from my phone when I'm at the PC comping, reminds me that you never know when your next win will turn up so keep on entering and see what happens :jDon't know where I'm running but I know how to run, 'Cause running's the thing I've always done0 -
