    Everything crossed!

Spoke to my MA earlier, she's moved to another local office hence the radio silence... she's going to chase Natwest for me today, hopefully I'll get some kind of news, be it good or bad!

had an update... natwest now want to see my payslip from last March showing the annual bonus. My MB spoke to them today apparently but they wanted to see evidence from last year also.

MB did say natwest were happy with the application so far, i'm just worried because I only had a pay increase and subsequent promotion in November of last year. My annual bonus last year was 2k as opposed to 6k this year, hope it doesnt impact it too much :-( still chomping at the finger nails !!!

Oh dear, none of us will have nails left at this rate. At least it's not bad news per se.

My MA hasn't contacted me back, so I figure no news is good news... if it was a no I'd know right away I'd assume :)

Hey guys, I'm waiting to her back from my mortgage broker on our application from 8th April. It's nerve racking to say the least. Been waiting 2 hours for a reply. Hoping the same and no news is good news.

Ours is from 1st April (April Fools, go figure). Been waiting most of the day to hear back from her. I literally can't think about anything else right now!

I'm exactly the same!! I'm struggling to concentrate on anything else. Lit is nice to know you're not alone. Our mortgage broker is great, but I do wish they could at least let me know that she's spoken to them/hasn't spoke to to them/is waiting for a response blah blah blah. I guess to them it's just every day business.

I don't know if helps but I have a very good relationship with my local Natwest in branch mortgage adviser. We had a meeting recently about moving house and porting the mortgage with a slight increase. She said whilst underwriters are strict if you are 100% truthful in the application then it won't be declined. She said the only cases she has ever had declined are where the person has lied/missed information out.

She even showed me the "stress tests! they do on your income/ interest rates on the system. So long as you have £1 or more after being stress tested then the application is accepted. Obviously if you lied about some CCJ or bankruptcy that would show on the credit report and it would be declined :)

Thanks :) I made sure my mortgage broker knew everything. My loan, etc. Even the £100 on my partner's credit card for work expenses which they have just paid back.

I'm hoping honesty is the best policy, we did pretty well on the KFI, we have £3200 take home between us and very little outgoings other than food and my loan, it's just the waiting that drives people nuts I think. We're all in the same boat, it's hard to have other people in control I think. :)
