How very very stressful for you at the moment. I really hope you get some news soon. They seemed to be pretty quick processing the valuation once it was done and the offer sent out (offer received in post within four working days of valuation) at the moment which I hope is some good news at least.0

thanks lizards!
I keep trying to convince myself that it will go through ok by the fact they just wanted proof of the annual bonus i.e. natwest are happy with the application and affordability etc. assuming that my annual bonus is what i've declared it to be.
Managed to get a PDF from my employee showing March payslip with the bonus going in, just hope thats sufficient. I work for a large company and we stopped doing paper wage slips about 7 years ago lol0 -
Just to say that we have our mortgage with natwest and found them to be extremely approachable and flexible when it came to the underwriting stage (my husband is self employed and had only one year of self declared books when we applied although I was in full time employment). It sounds like you can afford the mortgage so I wouldn't worry.0

thanks bitethebullet, hopefully hear back today or tomorrow.
So nerve wrecking and we've had to start and box the house up now as well. Luckily my parents have offered us a spare room to live in when the rents up on the 11th of may so we will only be semi homeless lol
My finger nails cant take the anxiety0 -
I know how you guys feel!
We've got an application in via Countrywide Broker (my partner works for one of Countrywide's companies so we get discounts).
Did the paperwork 30/03 evening.
Hopefully she submitted it on 31/03 or 01/04
Contacted her on Wednesday last week as there was an issue with our buildings/contents insurance but haven't heard anything since.
Heard nothing since. It's so hard waiting. The vendor of the property had to take a lot of persuading to accept her offer so we don't want to give her any cause to get cold feet.
I think having the bank holiday in between doesn't help... but it still feels like forever as it's 2 weeks ago we did all the paperwork, even if in reality it's only been one working week
Fingers and toes crossed for everyone!0 -
You 2 tarragon, the waiting game sucks !0

We are in a similiar situation, although the paperwork has not been submitted yet. The broker keeps saying everything should be fine and that we need to pay for the valuation when we submit the paperwork.
Does this mean we have the mortgage?
We are first time buyers and have had a bit of a nightmare. We used London and Country initially who gave us an AIP, once we were ready to proceed they were taking ages to get back to us so we changed broker, this guy is great but he struggled to get an AIP for us, barclays and santander both declined so now i'm really worried!0 -

Without paperwork submitted I would doubt it. We only had to pay £1 initially to our broker when we submitted, the rest comes out (£149) when the mortgage goes through, and we pay our valuation fee to Natwest (£278) should the valuation happens I believe.
Either way fingers crossed for you!0 -
That is what i was thinking after reading this thread.
My broker said we can pay by credit or debit card and to be paid when we submit the park work, he is coming to our house tomorrow evening to finalise the paperwork.
Does this sound right? I have submitted payslips but waiting for partners SA302's to come from the tax office.0 -

I paid by debit card when we submitted the paperwork, but it was just the initial £1, as a 'starter payment', the rest as above, comes off when everything goes through.
I'm still waiting for my SA302s, or rather the second set, the first lot either didn't get sent, or got lost. Amazing how they can send me a bill for NI with haste!0
