It's an A---Q - can't quite remember the actual model number but they were selling it in Argos, still, last summer.Bush you say? - can I ask what your machine is?
It's literally the basic model, yet even by today's standards, a quick wash that is 30 mins with no loss of water temperature.0 -
Many thanks for the reply anyuser.
Very kind of you.
And to all who replied.
Having fiddled with the old one a bit more, decided that it is really past it (it's something over 15 years old) and so went for this:

Could have had it for a fiver less when delivery and recycling taking into account from AO but I liked the way the Co-Op sounded on the phone and they deliver sharpish.
While t runs I'm fairly confident it will be better than my old machine which cost more - machines have come on since it was born.
Let's just hope it lasts as long as I need it.0 -
I'm sure it will be fine. I still have ringing in my ears the words of the Miele engineer who replaced a heating element in our just out of warranty Miele machine and charged us more than you have paid for your new Beko. I said "Blimey..I could have bought a new Beko for less" and his reply..... was... "Yeah you could, but the difference is a Miele washes clothes".
Frankly at that point I could happily have dropped it on his head. Best of luck with your new washer.0 -

Hope you are pleased with your new w/m OP.
Just wanted to add that I have used Co-op to buy appliances (cooker, cooker hood and lappy) in the last year or so and found them to be excellent.
I really like their one hour delivery slot and customer service. Due to delays the cooker wasn't installed for a few months. And when it was installed there were some runners for the oven missing. Co-op sorted it out without a quibble. Very pleased. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Hi all and betterdays.
Well how the machine goes remains to be seen (and it does only have a single year guarantee) but I can agree wholeheartedly with betterdays take on the co-op.
Text and email as promised late afternoon/very early evening with a one hour delivery slot. Then, on the morning a call from the removal/delivery team that they werev within ten minutes of me. Turned up at the beginning of the delivery slot, nice to deal with despite a bit of faff on the parking (no - one's fault - my location).
I was also, as I said, impresessed with the way the person at the co-op dealt with my initital questions on the phone - freephone number as well.
And I wouldn't normally be considered an easy customer.
Now over to Beko.0
