Not quite accurate I'm afraid....Freeserve was bought by France Telecom who then re-branded it to Wanadoo (as that was their service in France). Then last year Wanadoo was simply re-branded as Orange...no change to infrastructure, staff, processes, management or anything at all.

I've seen a lot of people saying that service has gone downhill since Wanadoo changed to Orange, but its really only a perception. Any problems that have occured since the re-brand would have occured anyway even if the name hadn't been changed.

Just to make it clear...I don't work for Wanadoo/Orange, but I do work for another company that has been re-branded Orange...we have exactly the same feedback from our customers despite the fact that behind the name absolutely nothing has changed (apart from our ID badges!)
