Enjoy your child free night Rubie.

Second dog walk done, and I've repotted the tomato plants and cleaned the outside of the greenhouse.

Going to finish my cuppa, read the paper, paint my nails (again) and get ready for another night out with DH.
Spend less now, work less later.

It was so nice to come home to a tidy house! Husband thinks that I don't really want to sell the house, it's just a good way of keeping it clean and tidy! Lol!

After too much of a lie-in (sloth genes) I spring cleaned the en suite this morning.
    - dismantled shower drain and thoroughly cleaned the yuk. Who was asking about smelly drains recently? We had that trouble; Mr N has just put in an extra U bend as our shower and loo were.....offloading......down the same (outside) pipe. He put it in relatively easily and all seems to have improved.
    - de scaled shower head
    - emptied bin and extended this to all upstairs bins
    - washed towels and mats
    - cleaned all surfaces, mirror, splashback, shower cubicle even polished the towel rail
    - swept and washed floor

Have left all cleaning stuff in bedroom hoping to continue.
Also want to do some clothes sorting as a charity bag came through door to be collected on Monday.

Did lots in garden - Mr N now dug all veg beds (we have 4 main ones and a couple of small ones). I pruned loads. I'll shred much of it tomorrow; bonfire just being started for drier stuff.

    Dinner in oven.

    Tomorrow:
    - clothes for charity
    - finish bedroom
    - tidy out medicine cupboard in en suite
    - more in garden (shredding; seed sowing; general tidying)
    - take motor bike out for tea somewhere; will be the 1st time I've been on the back since before Mr N's op
    - sort info following client enquiry
    - sort timetable/paperwork for next week's students
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Dinner cooked and scoffed,
    DW x2
    WM x7
6 loads on the line and most dried, aired in the TD, folded and put away. My kitchen will look like a kitchen if it kills me! There are so many baskets full of stuff in there.. mainly odd/unpairs socks.. it is quite depressing.

I have half a basket of undies too I need to dish out to their owners.

Well done to Frizzle, Narco, Elastic, mrs-mp, Pigpen and everyone else who has put me to shame with all their flying and decluttering.
GWS vibes to Kazwookie's patient, Jazee's Littley Dog, and various FlyKids.

Not a lot of flying has been achieved here in the past 36 hours, but we are well fed, the house is reasonably tidy, we went to visit a beautiful open garden this morning, and this afternoon I have mown our lawn and dealt with some nasty little frogs that have been causing me growing concern for a while - it's good to have them out of the way. I have also decluttered phonecalls and emails to my SiL, two of my friends and my DD and arranged a trip to York next Wednesday to see my brother (who has been admitted to hospital), a visit by DGS1+2 to us the following week, and a quick trip to Sussex after I take DGSs back to London. My diary is full of scribbles and very few empty days. Somehow I need to get back to my NT volunteering and keep on visiting my friend too...

More bits and pieces to do later this evening, but I'll go and finish cooking our meal first.

See you all again tomorrow x

Did some more decluttering in the spare rooms, drum kit is now moved into the smaller room. A load of stuff decluttered then took a walk down the pub and had a meal rude not to as we had a £5 off £15 spend voucher.
Back now to stich and watch DS2 game on tv.

Decluttering beyond the call of duty, mrs-mp! - what did they want it for?

Fat fingers I'm afraid, still haven't mastered the iPad keys. Autopredict seems to have different things to say than me. I forget to reread every post

    Evening all

Still not really getting stuck in to the flying, I have pushed the hoover around everywhere today. Eaten some email frogs and not much else. Was out until 2 though at a school mock trial thing DS3 was competing in which was very good.

    Tomorrow:
    Pack up hallway for decorating
    Wash kitchen floor
    Finish cleaning bathroom
    Clean shower room
    Sow cosmos
    food shopping
    Defrost freezer

Best make an early start so off to bed.
