Used up a can of carpet cleaner on DS2s bedroom carpet, just waiting another hour for it to be completely dry then I can dyson again.
My mobs seems to have died so I've just put the sim in a spare back and deleted a load of old texts.
Another load of washing hung out and whirly line move to its summer position at the bottom of the garden.

Glad you mentioned bedding plants frizzle I have sone pansys to plant but need to get a bag of compost for the planters first, do that on tomorrow's list

The hospital may reimburse travel expenses if you need to get a bus or taxi. They do here.. They don't reimburse car park fees though.

Squeaks scan done.. her kidneys are quite lovely.. they were my concern because mine aren't. Her bladder is a nice size but the walls are thickened either due to recurrent infection or a current infection.. so back to the quack for us! We had a good old look at her food moving down through the intestines and had an in depth discussion about peristalsis and bowels and all manner of gutsy things.. all very educational.. they should do this stuff in school!

Laundry out on the line.. 4 loads.. mainly fluffies and towels.

Is it wrong that i'm already in my pjyama's? I really don't care, i'm so comfy.

All paid work done today, roast beef cooking nicely in the sc, and house reasonably tidy.

    Bathroom - done.
DD's room - well i'm not going there, literally.
    DS1's room - just needs a hoover.
DS2's room - needs shelves re-filling with all lego models etc, that is currently on our bedroom floor, then his room hoovering.
Our room - needs hoovering once DS2's belongings have disappeared.
    Stairs & Landing - done
    Playroom - done
Dining room - table needs decluttering, ready for part family meal (DD is out with her friend for tea, belated birthday meal, goodness that girl knows how you stretch birthday celebrations).
Lounge - done apart from fire needs building and lighting.
Kitchen - needs attention, which I will do while cooking veg (I promise)
    Porch - needs attention.
Utility - need to find the worktops, on the plus side the floor is clean.
Conservatory - table decluttered and settee throws straightened, then swept and mopped.

First load of school uniform currently in wm, then have one more load to do, and that's me done.

We are away this weekend, watching SIL dance in a show "the essence of Ireland", and then have a auction to go to sunday (I am secretly more excited about this), so I want the house spotless before I go and all uniforms ready for Monday. Not sure if this will happened, but will try.

Coffee break over, now to help DS2 fill his selves, then I can get on with the hoovering.

Have a lovely evening everyone, hope all are well.

Glad the scan is done and kidneys look well pigpen, hope the thickening is just due to the current infection and goes down as soon as that is cleared.

Just lugged the Cs pile downstairs ready to load the landy tonight. I feels good having space.
I seem to walk into rooms and think that can stay, that needs to go now so still lots to shift but it's heading in the right direction.

Another load in the wm, going to go and give the bath a scrub now then run the dyson back over Ds2s floor.

Bathroom done, DS2s room done, lounge done, hall stairs and landing done (just need a better hook for tiger as he's heavy so he's standing guard on the floor at the mo) lounge just needs throws tidying, DS1 can do his this week, our room and the kitchen have been S&Sed and I can live with that. So I now declare flying over for me for the week and after food is done it will be wine o'Clock and stitching time.

    Have a great weekend all

Advise from the FL please, (not medical as I have enough of that)
For one reason and another, I am going to be a carer for approx 6 to 8 weeks, for someone who has a fracture shoulder, who is 70 years old, male, mobile enough, but MUST not move this shoulder for the 6 to 8 weeks, as you all know I work 7 days a week at 2 different jobs.
So the advise is what food, and clothes, I thought zip up clothes, button up shirts, food wise, I thought anything during the day when we are out that does not need cutting up, soups, sandwiches, pre portioned food, to heat in microwave, fruit, yougurts.
Any other ideas that I might of missed?

Pull up (and on the loose side) jogging bottoms for toilet access.

Plate up sandwiches in the fridge, loosely covered with foil (for one-handed removal)

Stew/casserole with small chunks of veg etc in a thicker sauce in slow cooker. Can be served in a bowl and eaten with a spoon only.
See if you can find a flask he could manage one-handed and make up a flask of tea/coffee in the morning - or borrow a dolce gusto or similar as drinks could be made one handed with that.

Watch it with yoghurt - you need a hand to hold and a hand to open - OR pre-open and decant into a bowl (again store in the fridge loosely covered with foil).

Well got all hoovering done, upstairs is officially spotless, dining table done, apart from couple of items i'll take up with me when I go to bed, surprisingly kitchen and porch got done, but conservatory and utility not.

However, its 8pm, i'm sat in my armchair with a cuppa, and apart from empty wm and dw, I don't intend to do anything else tonight. I'm determined to have a relaxing night, so tomorrow, I can just potter in conservatory, hide from uitility room, take DS1 to wall climbing, have some lunch, and be on our way for our night away (break from the kiddies) totally chilled ............well that's the plan anyway lol

Does sound very interesting, pigpen right up my street :D

All quiet here (dare I say it). DD has been up and down today - just gave her some medicine so hopefully she'll get a better sleep tonight. They've had a ball with friends over though, lots of noise and laughs, lovely.

They've both been told they can expect to stay in pjs all morning tomorrow :) and I won't be in a hurry to get up. Eventually though I'd like to tackle our RoD conservatory - we need a toy sort. Lego is breeding as are cars.

I need to text my dad and ask him to pick me up some euros - he has a place near him with good rates and he has a loyalty card, lol. Speaking of which, DS new beach sandals fit, although, having one foot quite a bit bigger than the other, he's almost at the end of one, but he said they are comfy. Trousers fit too. Tape measure to the rescue :)

One or both children might sleep at my mums tomorrow after DS friends party. I've no plans other than steam mop the downstairs floors, lol.

Feel pretty tired now so won't be late to bed I think. Yawn. :p

Not much flying today but lots of gardening done. Sun was out when I came out of the gym - yep managed another class after the months of slothdom broken only by occasional zumba. Has anyone grown Goji Berry plants? I got them very cheap in Ald1 last year, they have been in temporary beds over winter. I checked up how big they get etc before finding a proper home for them, and it seems that they can be rampant and not many people seem to get them to produce fruit for several years. What I read makes me want to put them somewhere out of the way and not waste space in my plot for them.
Not much in the way of an eclipse here. And nothing more to say!
