Need loan urgently if not i will be homeless in a week.
Hi,
I will explain my situation.
I'm a 19 yrs girl EEA national, and i'm here from 05.01.2015 with my fiancee (also EEA national). I've worked here just 8 days till 02.03 when i had the luck to find a permanent position. I've managed to live here with borrowed money from family but now i can't borrow anymore and my rent is due in 20.03 and my payday is in 31.03... My fiancee is unemployed, and we have no money from almost 2 weeks. So, no food, and soon no home. I was thinking to borrow some money like 700£ (500 rent and 200£ for living till payday), like a payday loan or something to pay in monthly installements, but i don't meet the criteria in most of the cases ( uk citizen, 3 years uk address history, guarantor, good credit score..etc ) i have none of these. i didn't pay my bills on time and i have a lot of "unpaid fees".
Please, i'm really desperate so any advice is welcomed.
Thank you.

Apply to the bank in the country you left to come here?0

Why is your fiancee not working ?
Can your salary cover bills, rent ?
Can your fiancee not ask family ?0 -
Have you also tried speaking to your landlord? I would have thought a one off late rent payment would be preferable to having to find new tennants.0

First off, don't panic. Paying rent 11 days is late is hardly the end of the world. You're certainly not going to be homeless because of it. Just keep the landlord informed and pay on payday. Do you have belongings you can sell/pawn to provide for living expenses? And do you really need £200? You can easily feed a couple for two weeks with under £50.
Good luck!:)0 -
Hi rosiulia
Unfortunately you are not likely to be able to borrow any money.
Even if you didn't have past history of not paying debts, being non uk and only in your address for 3 months means that potential lenders would see you as too high a risk
Your only real options are:
1) sell/pawn anything you can to raise funds until payday
2) borrow from friends or family
What were your plans before arriving within the uk? Did you not have enough funds to last a few months? Why is your partner not working?0 -
You don't stand a chance of getting a loan from any bank here in the UK and you aren't eligible for any benefits. You probably won't even be able to get a payday loan as you're discovering. Your landlord will have to take you to court to evict you legally so I really think your best bet is to return home if you can get your family to lend you the money to buy the tickets. You will of course still owe the rent but at this stage you don't have too many options.0

Seriously?! The OP only needs to get to the end of the month.0 -
But if youre rent is due on 21st of each month, and you don't get paid till 31st you are going to be in the same position every single month......make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Will your employer not give you some wages in advance?0

My fiancee is not working because he can't find work. And no i will not be in the same situation every month because he has an interview next week and he will be paid weekly so it's fine. We need just money to pay the rent. And yes, my salary can cover rent and bills. I don't want to come home, and we borrowed a lot of money from our relatives, and the cannot help us anymore. The landlord don't want to hear stories. He wants just the money. And yes i need 200 because i have to buy food, and bus tickets to go to work.0
