A very unfair system when you have a child with 93 getting in and a child with 96 not getting into the same school!! This is the case in my daughter's class. Thankfully it's not my child but it's very hard to explain to the child with the higher score!!

My daughter telling me her friend with 100 not getting into Antrim Grammar, if that's correct that's a big jump from 89 last year . Really impossible to predict makes the whole process all the more frustrating.

I know it's all a bit strange! In Carrick Grammar we have heard of 92 getting in and not a 96! Yet last year they took down to 80. A bizarre system indeed.

Confirmed that CGS was 94 with siblings so DS is on the waiting list with 3 or 4 others with the same score - so near and yet so far ��

Nearly sure that's what they told hubby yesterday unless they meant DS was third or fourth on the list. Can't ask him as he's at work and I'm at Musgrave with DS after his surgery.

You know that list applies for the full school year as well I told them if DS had to go to his 3rd choice I was not pulling him out to send him there Hope your Ds is ok after his op and is up and about soon must be a very worrying time for you all .
