Last year's thread was a great support to me when my daughter was going through this process - especially as I felt quite isolated with her being at a "non-transfer" school.
I really like the CEA practice papers out of Easons as previously mentioned - they are £7.99 for four papers. I feel that these touch on nearly everything that comes up in the past papers (which I understand most people start in sept?) - also I feel that many of these are harder than the past papers which I feel is a good confidence builder when the child moves onto them.
It can be costly enough to source papers if the school is not sending them home. There is a sample one on AQE website and perhaps a sample on transfer ready website. Also if you ask someone whose child has done it in recent years they might have some left over (preferably incomplete as it is a VERY big job to cover answers. Belfast Tele issue practice papers (I think it might be in March but you could ask if they have any) - not sure if I would use these for timing and score monitoring but may be useful for extra practice.

Hi All,
Well, preparation in this house has come to a virtual standstill. Of the papers recently completed the majority of mistakes made were due to a failure to read the question correctly rather than a lack of understanding - this was more in relation to numeracy than literacy. Comprehension of vocabulary is still proving difficult!
