Unless you send my mum to post them, said don't pay anymore than £2.80, if its less than £2.80 send 1st class, as i've charged £2.70 (2 items) - Ok, mum says, came back, it wasn't under £2.80 so I posted First Class at £3.30:mad::mad:

Hiya
Glad you finally got the Quidco money SJ. Keep thinking I should do the Qco thing but I never buy anything so I am not sure I would earn anything at all!
Tilly Tidies this Friday consist of £1.31 on the entertainment budget- despite going out for curry night with my CAMRA friends (only Wspoons) and a pint out tonight with a different friend and her OH. They stopped off to buy a curry on the walk home but I went home and got a parsnip curry I had made two weeks ago and frozen out of the freezer! Even then the parsnips had been YS
The grocery budget is an untouched pristine tenner!!!But I will 'roll over' this amount as I have almost run out of a few essentials such as oatcakes and peanut butter.
Hope all goes on well with Mrs SJ - recently taking DS1's GF to hospital spent £9 in one day parking there (she too is pregnant!!) What they did say tho was that if I was going to be parked for more than one day they could give me a pass where I 'only' paid £10 for the week - might be worth your while finding out if your hospital does anything similar SJ?
Nite allAim for Sept 17: 20/30 days to be NSDs  NSDs July 23/31 (aim 22) :j

Thanks Lynn, funnily enough we worked that out on Thursday when she had the scan. As its a section on Thursday she has to go for steroid injections on tues and weds, plus her pre op so we'll be buying a weekly pass for £10. I'm in the don't mind paying for parking camp but in the not happy with private firms.
As for Quidco ours is only ever for the various insurances or bank accounts (of which I've had a few in 2015). We too roll over unused food budget and use it for 'entertainment', that way we don't have to budget for it. In reality each month we end up about £50 under food budget so it works nicely for us. Homemade curries the day after are always nicer than a takeaway!
29p TT'd this morning placing the fund at £9.45. Half way through the month we're a few pence (55p) off the £20 TT target so fingers crossed for a few no bank spend days so I can tidy a nice whole £1!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

The only thing we buy regularly is pet food (usually gets £1-2 cashback per order, depending on whether we're ordering for all the pets or just the dogs).
That aside, we got ~£150 cashback from TCB just buying broadband and train tickets (both of which we'd have bought anyway). We'll get another ~£120 from £co for buying life insurance, car insurance, and travel insurance. So even if it's just the "need to get it anyway" stuff, it's worth looking into the cashback options. It does take time to pay out (generally 6 months for insurance), but free money's always a bonus.

As you say hidden its money for something we'd be buying anyway.
eBay did ok again tonight with a further 4 sales adding to yesterday's 5. A modest £4.50 made (plus a couple of £ on postage).
In declutter terms we've actually sold 78 items since November 21st and alarmingly we've got 84 items currently listed! Once you can accept the fact of how much you will accept for a sale, I think eBay is great!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
86p TT'd this morning which makes up a but of ground in the £20 TT target for the month.
DS1 friend is round for a play today as it's definitely the last time for a while given we at most 4 sleeps before the whirlwind arrives. So I'll head to a play centre with DS2 for a couple of hours and will spend a few quid on entry, cup if tea and an apple juice!
Nothing else to report. I may struggle with a run today with the snow and ice around unfortunately, so really pleased I managed 6km last night whilst the snow was falling but before the paths got bad (got splattered with a gritter which wasn't nice experience).MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

Very impressed with the volume of Ebay sales!
I sooooo need to do some Ebaying but it's the posting that puts me off. Our local post office, not only is it 15 mins away, you have to pay to park in town and it's always jam packed wasting an entire lunch hour in the queue:beer: Savings £18,000 / £25,000 :beer:0 -
